Commentary & Application
1. God Defers David's Intention (2 Samuel 7:1-11)
God has rejected Saul as kin and appointed David because God was seeking " a man after his own hear" (1 Samuel 13:14, KJV). So it was natural when David was settled in as king that he would want to honor God. David felt it was not proper for him to live in a permanent house when God's only visible dwelling place in Israel was a tent (2 Samuel 7:1,2). David's intentinos were to honor and bless the Lord. Honoring and blessing God is at the heart of worship. He expressed this to the prophet Nathan, who encouraged him to follow through on his desire to honor God (verse 3).
David's intention was good, but God had other plans. So He instruced Nathan to tell David that he was not to build a house (temple) for God (verses 4,5). Nathan was to remind David that the Lord had never asked for a temple to be built (verses 6,7). God also told Nathan to remind David of what He had done for him and for the people of Israel. He had raised up David from humble beginnings to become king. Similarly, He had raised up the Israelites, providing them a land of their own and security against their enemies (verses 8 - 11).
God message through Nathan revealed His intention to bless David more than he could have imagined. David wanted to build a house for God. Instead, God was going to build a house for David (verse 11). The implications of what God intended to do in this regard were spelled out in verses 12-17. You may infer from theses verses that God was not displeased with David's intentinos, but that He had a different plan for David's life and reign.
You must understand when you pray that God sometimes says "yes," sometimes He says "no," and sometimes He says "later." Your response is to be committed to God's will being done. You must trust that God will always do what is best.
How do you react when God says "no" to your prayers"?
2. God Makes a Promise (2 Samuel 7:12 - 17)
God assured David that He would establish his dynasty over the kingdom of Israel (2 Samuel 7:12). God would use David's son Solomon to build His temple during the peace that followed David's reign (verse 13).
David's dynasty would be established forever (verse 13). This promise is known as the Davidic Covenant. This covenant is fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ (see Luke 1:31-33; Revelation 11:15).
God also promised to be as a father to all David's descendants who would sit on his throne (verse 14). God would discipline them so He would never have to remove His loving mercy from David's descendants as He had from Saul (verses 15-17). God repeated His promise that David's throne would last forever (verse 16).
God will never make a promise He is unable or unwilling to keep. He knows your every circumstance and every decision. He knows hot to correct you, how to direct you, and what your response will be.
You can make only one mistake that will stop God from doing a great work in your life - not surrendering your life totally to Him. Surrendering your life to Him is an act of worship.
How do you react when God disciplines you?
3. David Responds with Worship (2 Samuel 7:18-29)
David's reaction to God's promise was humility and a desire to live to bring glory to God (2 Samuel 7:18). David was in awe of God's goodness to him and the promises God made to him and his family. He knew he was king only because of God's favor on his life (verses 18 - 21).
David thought about the notino over which God had placed him. God had delivered Israel from Egypt. He brought them into the Promised Land, and defeated nations there. He had blessed Israel and established them as His chosen people. This was evidence of God's greatness. Praise came from David's heart and he gave honor and glory to God for all He had done and for who He is (verses 22-24).
Worship can occur when you look beyond yourself and see God's greaness. The true measure of worship is how God was glorified. Worship is all about who God is and what He does.
The more David thought about God's past faithfulness, the more sure he was that God would keep all His promises to him. David was not asking for what he felt he deserved or demanding that God bless him even more. He was expressing his acceptance of God's great favor (verses 25 - 29).
You need to be aware of God's favor. If you are a believer, then you are a child of God. It is not who you are that matters - what matters is whose you are. Truly God is always worthy of your praise and thanksgiving.
What has God done for you that you need to worship Him for?
Discipleship in Action
It is natural to focus on your problems. Ask God to guide you through them and to help your faith grow because of them. Instead of focusing on your problems, focus on how much greater God is than your problems, that He is with you through your problems, and that He works in your behalf and gives you victory over them.
Keep a journal of what God shows you and does for you. Occasionally reflect on what you have recorded. Thank God for His help and tell Him how great He is. As you do this, you can offer to God the worship that He deserves and is worthy of.
What is one thing you can do this week in response to this lesson?
2 Samuel 7:1-29
(7:1) 1 After the king was settled in his palace and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies around him,
(7:2) 2 he said to Nathan the prophet, "Here I am, living in a palace of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent."
(7:3) 3 Nathan replied to the king, "Whatever you have in mind, go ahead and do it, for the LORD is with you."
(7:4) 4 That night the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying:
(7:5) 5 Go and tell my servant David, 'This is what the LORD says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in?
(7:6) 6 I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling.
(7:7) 7 Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, did I ever say to any of their rulers whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, "Why have you not built me a house of cedar?" '
(7:8) 8 Now then, tell my servant David, 'This is what the LORD Almighty says: I took you from the pasture and from following the flock to be ruler over my people Israel.
(7:9) 9 I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men of the earth.
(7:10) 10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning
(7:11) 11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies. " 'The LORD declares to you that the LORD himself will establish a house for you:
(7:12) 12 When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.
(7:13) 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
(7:14) 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men.
(7:15) 15 But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
(7:16) 16 Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.' "
(7:17) 17 Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation.
(7:18) 18 Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: "Who am I, O Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
(7:19) 19 And as if this were not enough in your sight, O Sovereign LORD, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant. Is this your usual way of dealing with man, O Sovereign LORD?
(7:20) 20 What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, O Sovereign LORD.
(7:21) 21 For the sake of your word and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made it known to your servant.
(7:22) 22 How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
(7:23) 23 And who is like your people Israel--the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations andtheir gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?
(7:24) 24 You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, O LORD, have become their God.
(7:25) 25 And now, LORD God, keep forever the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house. Do as you promised,
(7:26) 26 so that your name will be great forever. Then men will say, 'The LORD Almighty is God over Israel!' And the house of your servant David will be established before you.
(7:27) 27 O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build a house for you.' So your servant has found courage to offer you this prayer.
(7:28) 28 O Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.
(7:29) 29 Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever."

2 Samuel 7:1-29
1) It happened, when the king lived in his house, and Yahweh had given him rest from all his enemies round about,
2) that the king said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells within curtains.
3) Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in your heart; for Yahweh is with you.
4) It happened the same night, that the word of Yahweh came to Nathan, saying,
5) Go and tell my servant David, Thus says Yahweh, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?
6) for I have not lived in a house since the day that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tent.
7) In all places in which I have walked with all the children of Israel, spoke I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people Israel, saying, Why have you not built me a house of cedar?
8) Now therefore thus shall you tell my servant David, Thus says Yahweh of Hosts, I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people, over Israel;
9) and I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.
10) I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as at the first,
11) and [as] from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover Yahweh tells you that Yahweh will make you a house.
12) When your days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13) He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
14) I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;
15) but my lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.
16) Your house and your kingdom shall be made sure for ever before you: your throne shall be established forever.
17) According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak to David.
18) Then David the king went in, and sat before Yahweh; and he said, Who am I, Lord Yahweh, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?
19) This was yet a small thing in your eyes, Lord Yahweh; but you have spoken also of your servant‘s house for a great while to come; and this [too] after the manner of men, Lord Yahweh!
20) What can David say more to you? for you know your servant, Lord Yahweh.
21) For your word‘s sake, and according to your own heart, have you worked all this greatness, to make your servant know it.
22) Therefore you are great, Yahweh God: for there is none like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
23) What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeem to you out of Egypt, [from] the nations and their gods?
24) You did establish to yourself your people Israel to be a people to you forever; and you, Yahweh, became their God.
25) Now, Yahweh God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm you it forever, and do as you have spoken.
26) Let your name be magnified forever, saying, Yahweh of hosts is God over Israel; and the house of your servant David shall be established before you.
27) For you, Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore has your servant found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
28) Now, O Lord Yahweh, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant:
29) now therefore let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord Yahweh, have spoken it: and with your blessing let the house of your servant be blessed forever.

This is a machine transcript of the sermon. It won't be completely accurate of what's said in the sermon.
Hi, good morning. Defendant were all here this morning and from living along and Samuel second Samuel chapter seven versus one to twenty nine- okay this morning. I look at David and worship before we get to that instead had to say a prayer father is thinking crazy for your goodness Lord for your unfailing love for walking with us no matter where wrath. God is thank you and are nice for this morning that has been read about David and how he worships to give us a heart for you that longs for you in a heart that truly worships you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Okay, so now quick to point out to one practice, it unites God 's people throughout Scripture and throughout time to it, even to our present and preserve the abortion because they worship back in the Old Testament and we still worship today. So there is different perspectives from various levers on the simple truth is that we all believe that our God is worthy of worship doesn't matter who you are. I don't care if you want instruments in your sanctuary are not. If you want a solemn service that your heart worships whatever you now. It doesn't matter if you want to dance and shout and praise the Lord verbally and vocally it doesn't matter because what it comes down to is the attitude of the heart. That's the guys looking at one eighty nine David because he was a man after his statement perfect now, but his heart is perfect, so that's what we need to look at, and not forget that since him always going to drive and don't get me wrong, we strive to do the right thing. Okay, but were not perfect but as long as we can keep a perfect heart attitude, and that we can walk with God, and we can be quick to repent in this times whenever we fail, that's about something for who can so we know that our God is worthy of worship and more cities this is a natural tendency for anyone. His Pentagon encounter prey and when I mean by this is that is when he comes into our life and something happens and then we become aware how great and awesome that he is an help. Truly we are nothing without him. So we come to that realization that our abortion truly becomes true, it said it's a motivation from the heart is just not something we do, because rejecting this is what we do now, it becomes meaningful. Once we experience God. Once we accept Christ, and we allow him to change something happens. So in the Old Testament, and there was an emphasis on rituals and the forms of such of the Jewish word worship and is centered around the tabernacle, and then example, so worsen as will be unoriginal, and there was and still live dancing and singing, playing instruments, and poetry. So there's many, many facets of worship is not just one thing that's when we get shovels and we had a preconceived notion of what we believe worship is okay as I get ourselves into trouble in the half-day kind of sit back and keep an open mind to it because there are a lot of people in different places like I said, how did the Mennonites worship, how do some sex worship that him, not as a piano NSF and other instruments, but it's okay. I don't think that that's not the issue. The issue is then reunited in Christ doesn't matter the form of worship, just that the worship is true and sincere from the heart is the significance of David in his way in which he neatly expresses each of these. First of all, he was when we first volume of musician. They found that out when he is out shepherding sheep. He played music and said he was a musician and we also know that he was a singer-songwriter and the songs in receiving these and many autopilot and he also was a fanatical dancer and even a preacher and as I said, he authentically worship God in every corner of his kingdom even care his solemn answer where he was if he was coming out of battle going in the battle whatever the circumstance was on the rooftop of the palace that matter, where he was and he didn't care who was around. He wasn't afraid to show people that he loved God. So that's what makes him unique as a bowler as well. So the central truth this morning as God is worthy of abortion and sex in the text, and some twenty ninth two findings here. The key verse in the Lord the glory due unto his name, voice of the Lord in the beauty of his holiness and with that, with a heavy resistance is that comes in second Samuel chapter seven, starting with verse one. And it jumps around him. And when you have time to sleep. Hope on sits from one through twenty nine and finishing was settled in his palace and the Lord had given him rest from all of his enemies him him him him. He said he made the prophet here I am living in a palace of Cedar money ark of God remains in a sense, made here applies to the cane whatever you have in mind, go ahead and do it for the Lord is with you that nice word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying, go and sell my servant David, that this is what the Lord says, are you the one to build me a house to dwell in. When your days are over and you message her father is our raise up your offspring to succeed you, you who will come from your own body and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one the bill in a house for my name and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever thanking David went in and sat before the Lord and said that MIS software Lord and what is my family here brought me this are and as if this were not enough in your sight of sovereign Lord, yet also spoken about the future of the house of the service. Is this your usual way of dealing with man is sovereign Lord, what works, and David say to you or you know your servant is sovereign Lord, for the sake of your own reward according to your will. You have done this great thing and made it known to your service. How great you are a sovereign Lord, and there is none like you, there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears, and it was like your people Israel. No one nation on earth that God went out drinking with a people for himself, and to make a name for himself and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people in the redeemed from Egypt and now, Lord God, and keep forever the promise. You have made concerning his servant in his house division from our right is not showing on there now. First, they see again back and look in second Samuel six date him who worship her. He wasn't worried about what anyone else thought. And he did his thing. They worship with his heart, but then we see this found sharp contrast to the beginning of chapter seven David is very discontented and Israel was established as a nation and no longer wondering there is no more wars may have peace and David is experiencing the most peaceful and prosperous period of his life as face it, after all those years running from Psalm and then establishing his kingdom, and now if peace and rest, as they don't handle rescue well-regulated militia, busy moving in doing and getting caught up in every day life. Sometimes he gets his numbers aggressively actually doing something instead of just and just enjoying the moment of rest to have effect. Later that same it is something I got again whenever something somewhere. So this is what David is going through this e-mail is so used to running so used to being and doing. And now salaries looking around here, and he sees them. Yet for him. There is something wrong so is looking around, he sees it all, God blessed them with the opulence of the palace, and now this great views and you still can't stand the fact that the art is sitting in a little tense. Okay, so he takes it upon himself, and yet he sees that works in their vision and against innocent still owns thinking about everything he has and he sees that judges lack motivation is in the right place. Okay, just resting. He had to think about things and he sees this study can't stand the fact that the art is under this him them how to listen me enough in among the priests who worry about it. That wasn't a winner. Now they're how many times a day, sacrificing and doing the rituals and everything I never thought twice about your being independent. While David was in the palace and mother them, the Pennsylvania right. They traveled and traveled. That's all they ever notice that was the home of your so that's all the thing is, and they did their job. So it wasn't a priest to raise a question about the dwelling place that it was their game so they had. He sees anything to find a better woman. The first thing he did as he quickly consulted his spiritual advisor who was Nathan. So they can say anniversaries may be that okay, truth and statement yes, the Lord is with David, yes, begins own victory. He gave them peace. Katie established in this game, but recognizing their I was recognizing not do then I ran for this consultant, but it made a productive consult with the author I've had Nathan forgotten because he just assumes all sure and I think they are never knew what everyone has gladly indicated vacated kingdom putting on a place to rest. Yeah, cause with you whatever you want. So sometimes a good careful to make sure it's what God wants, not what we want. Sometimes you get that little trap where will have the right motivation, but we get ahead of ourselves him what was happening here is the right thing. Anything is a I know what I would do. I will bill in the own temple. Can you say that because solving spiritual advisor so that you know sometimes they assume we should so no organ and move from there and see what happens. So Nathan isn't realized that he spoke in hastening God has another plan so we see in verses four through eleven with Senator Reid from your significant context of the whole picture. That night when the Lord changing me insane. Don't tell my servant David, this is what the Lord says, are you want to go need a house to dwell in, and I'm not in a house from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt this day. I've been moving from place to place the content is my dwelling, where I have moved with all the Israelites did I ever say to any of their willingness to my commanded to shepherd my people. Why did not build a house near house of cedar. Now then, tell David tell my servant David, this is what the Lord Almighty says. I took it from the pastor from following the plot to be ruler over my people Israel. I've been with you were viewing gone and I have cut off all your enemies from before you, now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men of the year and have provide a place for my people Israel and plant them so they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed with you people will not oppress them anymore as they did in the beginning and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders over my people Israel. I will also give you rest while your enemies, so the Lord declares to you that the Lord itself establish a house for you him for the rest of your fathers are raised up your offspring to succeed you will come from your own body now establish his kingdom. Their feminine, so this software would look at them with a doctor 's fatal. Anyone... they plan to build a house for the art and all sudden we see what happens. Designation gives it a green light to move forward in this plan study has forgotten the tiny step, which was consulting with God. So God reminds David said the tent has adequately serve the people for centuries. It's what it's all they had, and with it was fine. Then, there have been artists on this forever, my glory does not understand forever. First, for as far as part far as far as these people now so it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter where the Ark said. Because my glories wherever I put it since I doesn't think like humans. He doesn't require material goods to pop himself up is not like us. We look at the little shiny things and who and how do you measure success in our is that your house is in the vehicle you drive, you know, things like that in doing good in life. Now you do get some things here and there, you enjoy life and is nothing I was enjoying life and God doesn't think likely thing Kerry that's the biggest thing here by Ms. around to wherever the needs of his people are not as very interesting. So God honors the heart of David by blessing his life forever. Now imagine that they would want to build done sample for the art piece is now well on the one better blessed forever. Elizabeth something. It is the heart attitude of David him laughing. He had the right motivated heart, he wanted to do more for God, but we can never out give God. We can talk him. He's always going to outdo us in our and it's okay sometimes they have to this be satisfied with God, Barak, it's enough just be yourself. It's enough to be you that a lot of people burning themselves out because of trying to be super Christian when being yourself is all but one has come as you are bringing your version. I'll give you rest. Bring your heart to me. I'll transform you for your broken dreams of restoring them in half, but we worship can walk with fellowship with him. Sometimes we make it harder than it has to be. We think we have performed a certain level. It's not about our performance is about our heart. We have the right fire for God. He sees that twenty one thousand most important thing we can get out and listen to David even know he wanted so badly to do something for God is not these diamonds on his cognitive. He's been a great leader for the people sometimes wanted to begin discontent. But God has called us to do this. Moreover, we don't feel it's enough subset of data we are, whatever revealing Vanni, thoughtfulness him a him him and him and know if you are doing as many ministries as you are doing before you have time to help one in address this is a fantasy trace of this. Things like that. That's an important and that it's important to be a friend is important to be a helper to someone who needs help now. If not standing open all about that. That's important. And somebody's job, but that's not the only job there is. Can run many children are raised in homes today that are very inaccurate him and him on down to the attitude of the heart, not how busy we make ourselves with all the functions that you highlighted this year. I just I could remember( Sundays off and benefited greatly, and we both agreed this year we're going to take some days off. It might be a lot over the summer because we need some time to refresh him him working for Saturdays which I know how much anymore now that we need time to do things in, but it's just sometimes it just isn't hot enough in giving and giving and giving and giving and you think you're doing all the right things, but then you better check your heart and my doing it for the right thing am I doing this for the right reason in my doing this for God from doing this on a function now you have the heart of David and my worshiping truly from my heart and my just filling a gap so sometimes I regret he got to get back into where you belong. You know, and feelings, relationships and build your relationship again, with God making sure this is not a performance, but it's from the heart filling through the notion right so I find it in my blessing his line forever. What a blessing. What a blessing for having the right heart attitude, and God will be the one to Bill and the house for Israel and David and Ian Olson is into twelve more of a promise, and he says that I'm verse twelve through fourteenth. Revisiting and then here we see that you talk about the future greatness of Solomon David is first promised that he will be buried with his ancestors, which in the Old Testament that was a blessing for the righteous. Okay, as though he is a first. Given that promise and also God will bless David's successor was even more slender than David himself will ever see. Here's a man who's gone from the pastor watching over a few she do the palace from the past into the palace is saying a lot. I mean, he went through a lot together. Okay, and he can't imagine anything more. And when God says if he's going to give his son more than what David has ever seen. I was surely couldn't even fathom it is these thought that while I thought I seen it all. So he says that Solomon was the more splendid and David and so him will ever see this kingdom will be established forever K and someone will be the one to build a house for New York says this unconditional covenant as author fifteen through seventeen in verse fifteen, but my love will never be taken away from him as I driven away from Saul, whom I remove from before you, your house, he occasionally endure forever before me, your families be established forever. Forever, though Johnson stressed the future kingdom of Solomon without a song, pray the Lord. Stated that it wasn't his literary greatness, and it wasn't his popularity that emptied itself from power. It was only from God 's hand. The song was removed and gone alone decided that we also have to note that David always looks much better than solid, even when he acts and morally and wife that because the attitude of his heart and his quick repentance, even in hit on his worst day 's worst day ever. It is still a better install because he had the right heart attitude. You waited on God. He went to the great Council. He kept the godly counsel so. Second seven oh seven states God 's protection everyday. This house is proclaimed unconditional lien, Abyssinian, that they would rain and succession forever, but we know that this has been fulfilled in Jesus, who is of the house of David. Okay, he reigns forever. That's where that comes in and that it was from our Jesus is from the line of David and the rain. His kingdom will never fall and keeps his promises and they did in response with forceps that because that's what David does as we know him him half someone it is and it isn't here in a response of abortion would find that in verses eighteen hundred twenty nine to give me some from here. Eighteen again thinking David when an incentive for the Lord, he said, whom I adored the sovereign Lord, what is my family. They even brought me this far and is it for nine and is this were not enough in your site a sovereign Lord, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant 's issue, usually beginning with man. The sovereign Lord, what worked and didn't say to you, for you. Now you're serving a sophomore for the sake of your work according to your will. You have done this great thing in mainland here serving how great you are a sovereign God. This is there is no one like you and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears, and who is like your people Israel, one nation under God White House reading as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself and he performed great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people in the redeemed from Egypt and now, Lord, keep your keys forever. The promise you made concerning your serving his house and do as you promise and he has on three twenty seven through twenty nine. He was his responses. Porsche says the God whom I will mind my family that you preserve us forever that you would make us great, he didn't forget where you came from energy, he didn't forget where you came from it and forget where God put an him. He was fulfilling what he was called again be a leader in great leader son Nathan speak is actually eighteen through twenty nine. Here are eighteen to twenty one. Nathan is short. The shortened life back, has eternal scope and the humble response, David has just heard that God will uphold his power forever and he doesn't. FL had about it or think how great a mind that God loves me on the greatest thing ever because my line is going to reign forever now. Instead, he sits in on before God 's grace doesn't think about the great warrior roller worshiper. He has become, but he looks back to his humble beginning. He looks back to him as a shepherd in the field and his family. His family wasn't anything special, and he was the last of the brothers that he looks where God has brought him from that and nobody would have logically chosen him for such power. Nobody but God himself said in the notice he isn't perfect, but he also knows that God is bigger than his imperfections, so in the condition characteristics of worship here. The inverse is twenty two through twenty four. David does what he does best. He worships. He starts with a worship home here with himself and focuses on God giving him praise and exultation, knowing that this blessing isn't his alone, but for all Israel, and not just for all Israel. He didn't know it was for all of us today him something the legacy we leave now, a lot of people coming now in and out of this world. What kind of legacy we leave, but will people say, but lives have we affected and how we affected them in a positive manner in a negative way. We also live in Atlanta say no, really I'm a no money. My family is anything great, now that God still loves me. God knows each and every one of us. He's given us each thing to do greatest thing we can do is be a worshiper love God with our heart and whatever he 's given us to do, do it with all of our heart. It's our heart attitude. Nothing more. It's what we do. Before God in here that counts may not do all the right thing to say all the right things at the right time, but he knows our heart. I have often continuing them. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name worse than the beauty of his holiness. Some twenty nine two one a reader conclusion that he has been the expression of God is worthy of our worship is much more than a trite phrase repeated at worship gathering. Indeed, it has weighty theological content. The life of David illustrates this expression well him among the blessings on the king 's house, he consistently gives glory to God 's sake takes the spotlight off himself in this way, the illustrious godly priorities as David is a devout follower of Jesus Christ. The later deemed to be the greatest commandment worship stems from a heart of love for God and David loves passionately because of this, Lord eternally blesses him and we continue to reap the benefits of this unconditional covenant of love in any closing thoughts and understanding, keep our hearts before him. Twenty months people after his heart marketing class performances just loving God from our heart down somebody else's work and sometimes we have to realize that to my gives us a certain work and sometimes it might be something else than a dishonest of you. It's for someone else to do right. You bless them, and you pray for them and encourage them to carry on. Whenever God has said them to do Hi, good morning.
