Jeremiah 11:20
20) But, Yahweh of Hosts, who judge righteously, who try the heart and the mind, I shall see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause.
Exodus 23:4-5
4) "If you meet your enemy‘s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
5) If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don‘t leave him, you shall surely help him with it.
Leviticus 19:14-18
14) You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God: I am Yahweh.
15) You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.
16) You shall not go up and down as a talebearer among your people: neither shall you stand against the blood of your neighbor: I am Yahweh.
17) You shall not hate your brother in your heart: you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
18) You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yahweh.
Deuteronomy 32:35-43
35) Vengeance is mine, and recompense, At the time when their foot shall slide: For the day of their calamity is at hand, The things that are to come on them shall make haste.
36) For Yahweh will judge his people, Repent himself for his servants; When he sees that [their] power is gone, There is none [remaining], shut up or left at large.
37) He will say, Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge;
38) Which ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink-offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your protection.
39) See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; There is none who can deliver out of my hand.
40) For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live forever,
41) If I whet my glittering sword, My hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my adversaries, Will recompense those who hate me.
42) I will make my arrows drunk with blood, My sword shall devour flesh; With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the head of the leaders of the enemy.
43) Rejoice, you nations, [with] his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, Will render vengeance to his adversaries, Will make expiation for his land, for his people.
Psalm 69:16-28
16) Answer me, Yahweh, for your lovingkindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
17) Don‘t hide your face from your servant, For I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
18) Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
19) You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
20) Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; For comforters, but I found none.
21) They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22) Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
23) Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can‘t see. Make their loins continually to shake.
24) Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25) Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
26) For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27) Charge them with crime upon crime. Don‘t let them come into your righteousness.
28) Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.
Psalm 109:1-20
1) God of my praise, don‘t remain silent,
2) For they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.
3) They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause.
4) In return for my love, they are my adversaries; But I am in prayer.
5) They have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love.
6) Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
7) When he is judged, let him come forth guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
8) Let his days be few. Let another take his office.
9) Let his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow.
10) Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.
11) Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
12) Let there be none to extend kindness to him, Neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.
13) Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14) Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh. Don‘t let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15) Let them be before Yahweh continually, That he may cut off the memory of them from the earth;
16) Because he didn‘t remember to show kindness, But persecuted the poor and needy man, The broken in heart, to kill them.
17) Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn‘t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.
18) He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, Like oil into his bones.
19) Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, For the belt that is always around him.
20) This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, Of those who speak evil against my soul.
Psalm 137:1-9
1) By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. Yes, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2) On the willows in the midst of it, We hung up our harps.
3) For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"
4) How can we sing Yahweh‘s song in a foreign land?
5) If I forget you, Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill.
6) Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth, If I don‘t remember you; If I don‘t prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7) Remember, Yahweh, against the children of Edom, The day of Jerusalem; Who said, "Raze it! Raze it even to its foundation!"
8) Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, He will be happy who rewards you, As you have served us.
9) Happy shall he be, Who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock. Psalm 138 By David.
Proverbs 24:17-18
17) Don‘t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don‘t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown;
18) Lest Yahweh see it, and it displease him, And he turn away his wrath from him.
Proverbs 25:21-22
21) If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; If he is thirsty, give him water to drink:
22) For you will heap coals of fire on his head, And Yahweh will reward you.
Romans 12:19-21
19) Don‘t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God‘s wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
20) Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head."
21) Don‘t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Hebrews 10:30
30) For we know him who said, "Vengeance belongs to me," says the Lord, "I will repay." Again, "The Lord will judge his people."
