Genesis 3:1-7
1) Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, "Yes, has God said, ‘You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?‘"
2) The woman said to the serpent, "Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat,
3) but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.‘"
4) The serpent said to the woman, "You won‘t surely die,
5) for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be as God, knowing good and evil."
6) When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit of it, and ate; and she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.
7) Both of their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Matthew 1:18-21
18) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this; because when his mother, Mary, had been engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
19) Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.
20) But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, you son of David, don‘t be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
21) She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name JESUS, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins."
Mark 1:14-15
14) Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15) and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the gospel."
Mark 16:15-16
15) He said to them, "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
16) He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
Luke 19:1-10
1) He entered and was passing through Jericho.
2) There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
3) He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn‘t because of the crowd, because he was short.
4) He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way.
5) When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."
6) He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully.
7) When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, "He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner."
8) Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much."
9) Jesus said to him, "Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
10) For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost."
Acts 4:10-12
10) be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole.
11) He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which was made the head of the corner.‘
12) There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in which we must be saved!"
Acts 16:25-33
25) But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
26) Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone‘s bonds were loosened.
27) The jailer, being roused out of sleep and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.
28) But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, "Don‘t harm yourself, for we are all here!"
29) He called for lights and sprang in, and, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas,
30) and brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31) They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your house."
32) They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house.
33) He took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes, and was immediately baptized, he and all his household.
Romans 3:10-23
10) As it is written, "There is no one righteous. No, not one.
11) There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
12) They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."
13) "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit." "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"
14) "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."
15) "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
16) Destruction and misery are in their ways.
17) The way of peace, they haven‘t known."
18) "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
19) Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.
20) Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
21) But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;
22) even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,
23) for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12-12
12) Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 6:23-23
23) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-10
8) for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9) not of works, that no one would boast.
10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
