What does the word "father" mean to you? Its meaning is often affected by a personal experience. For some the term creates happy thoughts of love, provision, protection, and strong action on their behalf. For others, however, "father" can bring out negative feelings of neglect, abandonment, or worse.
God the Father is the first person of the Trinity. It is important, then, to recognize that His identification as "Father" is entirely positive. to be called Father is a strong reminder that He wants to know us, care for us, and be a regular part of our lives.
As you go through this lesson, think about the qualities of God mentioned. He is almighty, powerful, and sovereign. Yet He also loves us so much that He sent Jesus to provide for our salvation. And still today He reaches out to us in mercy.
The scriptures below are from the WEB Bible.

14) With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding?

21) and did bring forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;
22) and gave them this land, which you did swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
