Exodus 19:1-8
1) In the third month after the children of Israel had gone forth out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.
2) When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.
3) Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
4) ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles‘ wings, and brought you to myself.
5) Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;
6) and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.‘ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."
7) Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.
8) All the people answered together, and said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do." Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.


Deuteronomy 32:10-12
10) He found him in a desert land, In the waste howling wilderness; He compassed him about, he cared for him, He kept him as the apple of his eye.
11) As an eagle that stirs up her nest, That flutters over her young, He spread abroad his wings, he took them, He bore them on his pinions.
12) Yahweh alone did lead him, There was no foreign god with him.


Psalm 84:1-4
1) How lovely are your dwellings, Yahweh of Hosts!
2) My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of Yahweh. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3) Yes, the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, Near your altars, Yahweh of Hosts, My King, and my God.
4) Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah.


Psalm 91:1-8
1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2) I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust."
3) For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence.
4) He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.
5) You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6) Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7) A thousand shall fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you.
8) You will only look with your eyes, And see the reward of the wicked.


Isaiah 40:27-31
27) Why say you, Jacob, and speak, Israel, My way is hid from Yahweh, and the justice [due] to me is passed away from my God?
28) Have you not known? have you not heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn‘t faint, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.
29) He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31) but those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.


Matthew 10:26-33
26) Therefore don‘t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered, that will not be revealed; and hidden, that will not be known.
27) What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28) Don‘t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
29) "Aren‘t two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father‘s will,
30) but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31) Therefore don‘t be afraid, you are of more value than many sparrows.
32) Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
33) But whoever denies me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.


Matthew 23:37-39
37) "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
38) Behold, your house is left to you desolate.
39) For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you will say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.‘"


Matthew 6:26
26) See the birds of the sky, that they don‘t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren‘t you of much more value than they?
