20) When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree immediately wither away?"
21) Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly I tell you, if you have faith, and don‘t doubt, you will not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if you will tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,‘ it will be done.

26) I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air,
27) but I beat my body and bring it into submission, for fear that by any means, that after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

4) whereby he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.
5) Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;
6) and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control patience; and in patience godliness;
7) and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.
8) For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
