Psalm 63:1-6
1) God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you, My flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
2) So I have seen you in the sanctuary, Watching your power and your glory.
3) Because your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise you.
4) So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.
5) My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,
6) When I remember you on my bed, And think about you in the night watches.
Isaiah 26:7-9
7) The way of the just is uprightness: you that are upright do direct the path of the just.
8) Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, have we waited for you; to your name, even to your memorial [name], is the desire of our soul.
9) With my soul have I desired you in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you earnestly: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
Mark 1:32-38
32) At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick, and those who were possessed with demons.
33) All the city was gathered together at the door.
34) He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. He didn‘t allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.
35) Early in the night, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed.
36) Simon and those who were with him followed after him;
37) and they found him, and told him, "All are seeking you."
38) He said to them, "Let‘s go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also, for to this end I came forth."
Luke 6:12-16
12) It happened in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
13) When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles:
14) Simon, whom he also named Peter; Andrew, his brother; James; John; Philip; Bartholomew;
15) Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot;
16) Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor.
Hebrews 3:12-15
12) Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there will be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13) but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14) For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15) while it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, Don‘t harden your hearts, as in the provocation."
Hebrews 4:4-7
4) For he has said somewhere about the seventh day like this, "God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"
5) and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."
6) Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the good news were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,
7) he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, Don‘t harden your hearts."
