Genesis 3:5-15
5) for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be as God, knowing good and evil."
6) When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit of it, and ate; and she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.
7) Both of their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8) They heard the voice of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.
9) Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"
10) The man said, "I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."
11) God said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
12) The man said, "The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
13) Yahweh God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
14) Yahweh God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above every animal of the field. On your belly shall you go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
15) I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel."
Isaiah 7:14
14) Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Isaiah 9:6-7
6) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be on his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7) Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Hosts will perform this.
Luke 18:31-33
31) He took the twelve aside, and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
32) For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.
33) They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again."
John 1:45-49
45) Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
46) Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."
47) Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!"
48) Nathanael says to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
49) Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!"
Acts 13:32-35
32) We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,
33) that God has fulfilled the same to us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second psalm, ‘You are my Son. Today I have become your father.‘
34) "Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.‘
35) Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.‘
