Isaiah 53:4-11
4) Surely he has borne our infirmities, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck of God, and afflicted.
5) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7) He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn‘t open his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn‘t open his mouth.
8) By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who [among them] considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living for the disobedience of my people to whom the stroke [was due]?
9) They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10) Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yahweh shall prosper in his hand.
11) He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.
1 Peter 2:24
24) who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
Zechariah 12:10
10) I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn.
John 19:37
37) Again another scripture says, "They will look on him whom they pierced."
John 15:1-5
1) "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
2) Every branch in me that doesn‘t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
3) You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4) Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can‘t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
5) I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Matthew 26:41
41) Watch and pray, that you don‘t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
