14) This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
15) And if we know that he listens to us whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

35) He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.

Hebrews 5:5-9
5) So also Christ didn‘t glorify himself to be made a high priest, but he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your father."

7) Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
8) though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;
9) and having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,
Matthew 6:31-34
31) Therefore don‘t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?‘, ‘What will we drink?‘ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?‘
32) For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33) But seek first God‘s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you.
34) Therefore don‘t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day‘s own evil is sufficient.
James 4:7-8
7) Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8) Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
16) Rejoice always.
17) Pray without ceasing.
18) In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
19) Don‘t quench the Spirit.
2 Timothy 1:12
12) For this cause I suffer also these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.
