3) You ask, and don‘t receive, because you ask amiss, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
1 Kings 3:10-12
10) The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11) God said to him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice;
12) behold, I have done according to your word: behold, I have given you a wise and an understanding heart; so that there has been none like you before you, neither after you shall any arise like you.
Matthew 7:7-8
7) "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.
8) For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
James 5:16
16) Confess your offenses one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective.
Psalm 34:1-8
1) I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2) My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3) Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
4) I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5) They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
6) This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7) The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them.
8) Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
