“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” - Romans 1:20
John 20:1-10 1) Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came early, while it was yet dark, to the tomb, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb. 2) She ran therefore, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don‘t know where they have laid him!" 3) Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they went toward the tomb. 4) They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter, and came to the tomb first. 5) Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying, yet he didn‘t enter in. 6) Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying, 7) and the cloth that was on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself. 8) Then the other disciple also entered in therefore, who came first to the tomb, and he saw, and believed. 9) For as yet they didn‘t know the scripture, that he must rise from the dead. 10) So the disciples went away again to their own homes.
Matthew 20:17-21 17) As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, 18) "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, 19) and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up." 20) Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him. 21) He said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your kingdom."
John 11:24-26 24) Martha said to him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." 25) Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he die, yet will he live. 26) Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
