Genesis 17:1-8
1) When Abram was ninety-nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am God Almighty. Walk before me, and be blameless.
2) I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."
3) Abram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,
4) "As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
5) Neither will your name any more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made you.
6) I will make you exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you.
7) I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.
8) I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God."
Leviticus 20:24-24
24) But I have said to you, You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the peoples.
Deuteronomy 6:2-3
2) that you might fear Yahweh your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son‘s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
3) Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
Genesis 26:12-14
12) Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him.
13) The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great.
14) He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.
