Matthew 6:25-34
25) Therefore, I tell you, don‘t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn‘t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26) See the birds of the sky, that they don‘t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren‘t you of much more value than they?
27) Which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to the measure of his life?
28) Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don‘t toil, neither do they spin,
29) yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
30) But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, won‘t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
31) Therefore don‘t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?‘, ‘What will we drink?‘ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?‘
32) For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33) But seek first God‘s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you.
34) Therefore don‘t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day‘s own evil is sufficient.
2 Corinthians 9:6-15
6) Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7) Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8) God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
9) As it is written, "He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever."
10) Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;
11) you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.
12) For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through many givings of thanks to God;
13) seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all;
14) while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.
15) Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!
Romans 8:1
1) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don‘t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Isaiah 25:1
1) Yahweh, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things, [even] counsels of old, in faithfulness [and] truth.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
16) Rejoice always.
17) Pray without ceasing.
18) In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
19) Don‘t quench the Spirit.
