Psalm 103:6-18
6) Yahweh executes righteous acts, And justice for all who are oppressed.
7) He made known his ways to Moses, His deeds to the children of Israel.
8) Yahweh is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.
9) He will not always accuse; Neither will he stay angry forever.
10) He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us for our iniquities.
11) For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his lovingkindness toward those who fear him.
12) As far as the east is from the west, So far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13) Like a father has compassion on his children, So Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.
14) For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.
15) As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16) For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.
17) But Yahweh‘s lovingkindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, His righteousness to children‘s children;
18) To those who keep his covenant, To those who remember to obey his precepts.
Colossians 1:15-25
15) who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16) For in him were all things created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and to him.
17) He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
18) He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19) For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him;
20) and through him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross. Through him, I say, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens.
21) You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,
22) yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,
23) if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
24) Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body‘s sake, which is the assembly;
25) of which I was made a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you, to fulfill the word of God,
Romans 5:6-8
6) For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7) For one will hardly die for a righteous man. For perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.
8) But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
