Matthew 22:34-40
34) But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together.
35) One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
36) "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?"
37) Jesus said to him, "‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.‘
38) This is the first and great commandment.
39) A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.‘
40) The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
Deuteronomy 6:5
5) and you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

18) You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yahweh.
Luke 15:20-24
20) He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21) The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no more worthy to be called your son.‘
22) But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.
23) Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;
24) for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.‘ They began to be merry.
Genesis 46:28-30
28) He sent Judah before him to Joseph, to show the way before him to Goshen, and they came into the land of Goshen.
29) Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel, his father, in Goshen. He presented himself to him, and fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
30) Israel said to Joseph, "Now let me die, since I have seen your face, that you are still alive."
Ruth 1:16-18
16) Ruth said, "Don‘t entreat me to leave you, and to return from following after you, for where you go, I will go; and where you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God;
17) where you die, will I die, and there will I be buried: Yahweh do so to me, and more also, if anything but death part you and me."
18) When she saw that she was steadfastly minded to go with her, she left off speaking to her.
Luke 10:30-37
30) Jesus answered, "A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31) By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32) In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33) But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34) came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35) On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.‘
36) Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?"
37) He said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
Esther 4
1) Now when Mordecai knew all that was done, Mordecai tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;
2) and he came even before the king‘s gate: for none might enter within the king‘s gate clothed with sackcloth.
3) In every province, wherever the king‘s commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
4) Esther‘s maidens and her chamberlains came and told it her; and the queen was exceedingly grieved: and she sent clothing to clothe Mordecai, and to take his sackcloth from off him; but he didn‘t receive it.
5) Then called Esther for Hathach, one of the king‘s chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend on her, and charged him to go to Mordecai, to know what this was, and why it was.
6) So Hathach went forth to Mordecai to the broad place of the city, which was before the king‘s gate.
7) Mordecai told him of all that had happened to him, and the exact sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king‘s treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
8) Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given out in Shushan to destroy them, to show it to Esther, and to declare it to her, and to charge her that she should go in to the king, to make supplication to him, and to make request before him, for her people.
9) Hathach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
10) Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a message to Mordecai [saying]:
11) All the king‘s servants, and the people of the king‘s provinces, do know, that whoever, whether man or woman, shall come to the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law for him, that he be put to death, except those to whom the king shall hold out the golden scepter, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in to the king these thirty days.
12) They told to Mordecai Esther‘s words.
13) Then Mordecai bade them return answer to Esther, Don‘t think to yourself that you shall escape in the king‘s house, more than all the Jews.
14) For if you altogether hold your peace at this time, then will relief and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place, but you and your father‘s house will perish: and who knows whether you haven‘t come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
15) Then Esther bade them return answer to Mordecai,
16) Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast you for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast in like manner; and so will I go in to the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
17) So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.
Esther 5:1-3
1) Now it happened on the third day, that Esther put on her royal clothing, and stood in the inner court of the king‘s house, over against the king‘s house: and the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, over against the entrance of the house.
2) It was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favor in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the scepter.
3) Then said the king to her, What will you, queen Esther? and what is your request? it shall be given you even to the half of the kingdom.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
1) If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don‘t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
2) If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don‘t have love, I am nothing.
3) If I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don‘t have love, it profits me nothing.

This is a machine transcript of the sermon. It won't be completely accurate of what's said in the sermon.
I apologize of have issues this morning on my tablets being funny. So hopefully it doesn't crash on me whenever I'm going through all my notes and so forth. So today's sermon. I chose to do Love one another being that it fits right in with the times that we're about to go into and so forth. I probably went through three or four different topics. Until I hit this one and it kind of stuck. And on Friday. Chasing I want to go see the movie creed and. There are some themes throughout that kind of helped. Flit a fight for me so that I was like yeah OK I'll go with the love one another it makes sense. So I'll be using it. Matthew Chapter twenty to thirty four through forty. To go through this and I'm reading out of the and O.T.. But when the first he's heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply. The Met together to question him again. One of them an expert in religious law. Tried to trap him with this question. Teacher. Which is the most important commandment in the Law of Moses Jesus replied. You must love the Lord your with all your heart. Are your soul. And all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important. Love your neighbor as yourself. And entire law. And all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments. So does anyone have a guess at how many laws are actually in the Bible. Blot. Yes. A lot. Hundred what. No much more. Yeah there are over six hundred laws in the Bible. So whenever you start thinking about how many laws are actually are a kind of makes you think of OK well the Bible is saying don't do this don't do that and it's easy how people when always think about. OK while the Bible is just about rules and regulations not necessarily how to treat each other so the first portion of that scripture actually comes from drawn to me. Chapter six of our thoughts. And you must love the Lord your with all your heart. All your soul. And all your strength. And then the second portion comes from live. The Leviticus. Nine hundred eighteen. Do not seek revenge or bear grudge against a fellow is really. But love your neighbor as yourself. Frame the Lord Jesus that if we truly love in our neighbor that. We will naturally keep the other six hundred loss. Rather than focusing on all the six hundred if we just focus on loving first and foremost. And then loving one another everything just falls into place. So rather than worrying about what we shouldn't do. We should concentrate on all that we can do to show our love for and for others. Thankfully throughout the entire Bible. We have plenty of examples to show us how to do this for the first one I tried to write these down into categories. So we have parents to children. So we have the project will fun which he has and maybe a little bit of a spoiled brat or something. He wants what he wants and he wants it now. And doesn't care about anyone else. Father still alive and he's like well. I don't care about your lives. I want my property. So the father. Obliges. Why I have no clue. Follow the data be like you're white. So. So the father goes off and gives his property. Her his share. Over to that son. And the sun goes off Ingles everything away. He ends up being is lowest point or is worth less than other animals A takes care of he's feeding pigs for a local farmer. And he's not even allowed to eat the slot that the. So he's extremely low on the totem pole. So he decides that he's going to end up going back home to see its father. And he's going to work for his father as a servant. He's doing like the slow conversation is saying he's like. It's going to be like easier and better for me if I just go work for my father and be a servant. Nol. If I were the father in. I was having him come back telling me all. I'm going to be your servant and everything that I just gave to you threw away and so forth. Yeah I'd let him be a servant. I would. That shows how flawed I am I guess. So rather than doing that and Luke fifteen twenty three twenty four. We get to see how the father actually responds and how we should respond. Regardless of what our kids put us through. Unfortunate. So he returned home to a father in law when he was still a long way off. His father saw him coming forward with love and comp ion he ran to a son and praised him and kissed him. His son said to one. Father I have sinned against both heaven and you and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. His father said to the servants quick. Bring the finest robes in the house and put it on them. Get it wrong first finger and sandals worse feet and kill the calf we have been fat. Fattening. We must celebrate with a feast for this son of mine was that. And has now returned to life. He was lost but now he is found. So the party began. This is a great example of how we should treat our kids. And this was actually Jesus talking with a parable. And whenever you actually get down to the deeper meaning of it it's not just how we should treat our kids it's really about how looks at us. So either the even though we disobey and we make mistakes and so forth. He's always seeking us out and whenever we return to him he's always there with open arms. I wish I could say the same about myself. OK subsections. The second section I have forgot to summertime or. OK. OK so the second section I have is children to their parents and parents want their kids to listen to them right. I mean. I'm pretty sure that at some point. I would have been like what I say is the wall. That's it. And I have Tracy to help. Even the out. OK so with children a loving the parents. We have the example of Joseph Joseph was the youngest of his brothers. And he was sold off to slavery. So being me again I'd be extremely bitter. I would be upset with my brothers and. Probably my parents. Just because they happen to be the parents of my brothers as well so we like you shouldn't train the better. You know. So he was off to slavery. And then he defied awed put against them. He ended up being the overseer of all of those land and so forth. So rather than just being me. He was very loving to his brothers and his father. So much so that whenever he was reunited with his father he actually cries on a shorter and. I kind of think that. Whenever he was crying on the shoulder it lasted a while I did include that call. So in Genesis forty six twenty three thirty. As they neared their destination Jacob sent. Judah had to meet Joseph and get directions to the region. Of gosh I'm I'm sorry if I don't ounce it right. And when they finally arrive there. Joseph prepared his chariot and travel to gosh and to meet his father Jake. When Joseph arrived he embraces father and wept holding him for a long time. Finally. Jacob said to Joseph Nye I'm ready to die since have seen your face again. And know you're still alive. So they held for a long time. And then finally this book. So I'm going magine like this a couple minutes. They're like crying over each other so I. There. There was a lot of emotion in thankfulness. To have his father back around. Nice whenever you actually have a parent that you haven't seen for a while in a slight all the here. But really we should always be like that we should always be like. Thank you for being here. Tracy and her parents that a great example for me. They communicate. To me what is a lot. I've never really seen a family communicate as much as they do. My family's kind of like very distant. So seeing her and her mom and her dad and. How close they are and how often they talk. Kind of kicks me every now and then to relate. K. should probably call my mom. Some point. So Mom if you're watching I Love You. OK And then we have our in-laws. Sitting right over there. We have a great example. With Ruth. Her husband died and. Naomi kept telling her to go back home. Like leave me. You don't owe me anything. Rather than listening to. Naomi. Ruth took the stance that. Naomi is her family. Just like Barb and Jim. Are my family. So and Ruth when we have versus sixteen through. Eighteen. But Ruth replied. Don't ask me to leave you in turn back. Wherever you go. I will go wherever you live. I will live your people will be my people and your will be MY GOD or every die. I will die. And there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely. If I allow anything but death to separate us. When they only saw that Ruth was determined to go with her. She said nothing more. I don't know many people that really. Exemplify this. With their in-laws. A lot of the times I hear a kind like a cracker joke about the end laws and so forth and. I can't really relate. Just because they've been so knife. I'm not saying that just because they're here. It's really nice to actually have. In-laws that you can love in make they make it easy for you to love them. But regardless whether they make it easier not because I mean Naomi was trying to like essentially like kicker down the road like oh. Leave me. I'm horrible. I think you know me actually means like bitter. I'm pretty sure. So she was really in a sour point. So you could imagine whenever she's talking to Ruth. And I do not know the other woman's name. That was her daughter in law. She was probably like. You know you really need to leave right now. And she was probably not very polite about it. And regardless of the fact. Ruth is like. No I'm here with you sleep. We're going to walk through this together. Just because you lost your son doesn't mean you're going to lose me. And not have a family. So she really exemplifies what we should be to our mother father in laws and grandparent said and so forth. OK The next question. I have is on string injures which I don't know why I like really focusing on strangers. Maybe it's because whenever I think about. One of the jesus teachings was that. It's better to give to someone that can't give back to you because that way you're not trying to keep score. So maybe that's why I like surfing on strangers. Not s . But with strangers we do have a and Luke. Ten thirty three thirty seven. The tale of the Good Samaritan geezer replied with a story. A Jewish man was traveling from Jerusalem down to Jericho. He was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes. Beat him up and left and half dead beside the road. By chance a priest came along. But when he saw the man lying there. He crossed to those other side of the road and p ed them by the temple istant. Walked over and looked at him lying there. But he also p ed by on the other side. With that section. There are often times when we we we know we're supposed to treat each others we want to be treated. But a lot of times it's extremely hard to be like OK well I'm going to go help this person. Which I have no clue who they are and. I don't know what they may do to me. So if you see someone driving done. Or are walking down the road. I'm not going to pick them up because they might slip my throat. I always heard that quite a bit. But I'm still alive. So it's extremely easy to be like the priest and actually not listen to what we feel should actually do to us and not do to us has told us. And the way we should approach other people. Then I despise tests and there are ten. Came along. And we when he saw the man. He felt comp ion form. Going over to him the Samaritans who does wounds. With all of oil in line and beings that bandage them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an end where he took care of him. The next day he handed the innkeeper to sever coins telling him. Take care of this man. If his bill runs higher than this. I'll pay you the next time I'm here. Now which of these three would you say was the neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits and Jesus asked the man replied. The one who showed him mercy. Then Jesus said yes. No go home and do the same. So rather than listening to everything that we hear or hear from the world. We should really go out and try and make a difference to this people are struggling. Whether it's financially. Or just emotionally or whatnot. We should really treat them as we would want to be treated. And there was a philosopher I didn't write it down mine and in my notes a shot of. It was really good quote. But he was saying about. Whenever it came down to the commandments. That he viewed the commandments in three phases. You should love one another you should love one another should love one another and the middle one was actually. You should love someone else. Through . Because it's so easy to be like well I don't love myself. So how can I love someone else. But if you love can do the loving to the other person. So it's really interesting reading that I had with that and that was from the eighteen hundreds. So whoever says that there's nothing good in the old days is wrong. OK Next we have country which we are so p ionate about right. USA. This we have Esther. Which is a great story. She was actually the first D.V.D. that bought for watching on T.V.. If anyone wants to borrow I have it. But it's a great story that's in the Bible. She she was kind of hit in. Whenever the king was requesting. For all the virgins in the land. And he didn't know that she was in Israel like. Which And actually quite important to know about someone could you imagine a flake. I came in and I married Tracy she's saying I'm a Christian I'm what I'm a Christian to couple months down the road I'm like well I'm actually Buddhist. Don't make a huge difference in the way that she would probably look at me and be like oh I thought we had this in common. We don't this is a little weird. So she had that whole aspect going against her and then she has more to cause which is essentially a father figure to our. I'm not sure if there's any relation between her Mordecai. Other than he was taking care of her and being more like a father. There was a lot put into effect by the king. To kill all the Israelites. And Mordecai wants her to sensibly expose herself say. You know I'm an Israelite and you're trying to kill my people. And on top of that. I'm going to go into the Kings in a court. And tell him. Even though. If you walk into the inner court. And the king doesn't want you to be there. You can die immediately. So does. In doing so and actually trying to defend her people is. Extremely amazing. I'm not sure I could do that and I've been in the military and its like OK what I die for the person to the left and right of me. OK. Sure. Not a big deal. You have a connection with the people there around you but to say OK well then car tire country wants you to go in there. Because the Mordecai. I'm not sure I could do that so much. I'd be like can I write a letter. I mean it's much safer. Call over the phone send a text. You know I I could post it on Facebook. We could get a bunch of likes and shares send it out to the world. Yeah that's a lot safer to me. But instead. If the goes into the king's court. And he recognizes her. And then she has a mother for dinner. You know what better way to sway someone to your side then given food. It would work for me. She goes have them over. And she puts her self all on the lamb walking to the inner court. Making sure he gets food. And then Athan him to spare her people. And then he's like. What are you talking about your people. It's like we're your people. She's like the Israelites. They are my people. I am an Israelite. Well it's I mean. Going back to the Buddhist example. I mean could you imagine that. It's like oh you're an Israelite way I love you who may. So he actually listens to her which is a great thing for a husband to do with a wife sometimes you have to listen. Yes. I'm stubborn at times. I don't always listen. But yes. You're very persistent. Yes. I'm learning. I'll get there. One day. OK And then we have already examined pool which were better example than just dying for us on the cross. Dying for essentially people that. Are going to wrong him. For the people that would be him and give him a. What is a sponge. Filled with essentially Vennegoor to his mouth. And he's still saying. I forgive you. I mean what better way to show love. Than to forgive one another. And now to my ending. Hard to make it. Oh yes. I got three minutes for this. I really thought was an even gonna make it this far. OK so the last crypt I have to end with is first Corinthians thirteen. One through three. If I can speak. All the languages of earth and of angels. But didn't love others would only be in OIS you've gone already claiming symbol. If I had the gift of prophecy. And if I understood all secret plans and possessed. On knowledge. And if I had such faith I could move mountains but then love others. I would be nothing. If I gave everything. I have to the poor and even sacrifice my body. I could boast about it. But if I didn't love others. I would have gained nothing. So don't gain anything. Love. That's probably the most important thing that has commanded us to do go out. Love one another so if you go out shopping. Don't tackle each other trying to fight for the last gift. Let someone else have it I mean maybe it's more important for their child to have whatever gifts are their husband and wife daughter. Whatever. OK let it stand. Yeah. Lord. Thank you for all your great was things that you saw it upon us and. Please help us to go out and show your word to everyone else. And to love on them and show them kindness and be great examples of he want us to be. And Jesus name for a human.
