2 Timothy 4:1-22
1) I charge you therefore before God and the Lord, Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2) preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.
3) For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;
4) and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables.
5) But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
6) For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.
7) I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
8) From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
9) Be diligent to come to me soon,
10) for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
11) Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministering.
12) But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13) Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.
14) Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works,
15) of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.
16) At my first defense, no one took my part, but all left me. May it not be held against them.
17) But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18) And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me to his heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
19) Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
20) Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus at Miletus sick.
21) Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22) The Lord, Jesus Christ, be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
Luke 3:1-38
1) Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,
2) in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness.
3) He came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance to remission of sins.
4) As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.
5) Every valley will be filled. Every mountain and hill will be brought low. The crooked will become straight, And the rough ways smooth.
6) All flesh will see God‘s salvation.‘"
7) He said therefore to the multitudes who went out to be baptized by him, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8) Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and don‘t begin to say among yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father;‘ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones!
9) Even now the ax also lies at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doesn‘t bring forth good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire."
10) The multitudes asked him, "What then must we do?"
11) He answered them, "He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise."
12) Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what must we do?"
13) He said to them, "Extort no more than that which is appointed you."
14) Soldiers also asked him, saying, "What about us? What must we do?" He said to them, "Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages."
15) As the people were in expectation, and all men reasoned in their hearts concerning John, whether perhaps he was the Christ,
16) John answered them all, "I indeed baptize you with water, but he comes who is mightier than I, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to loosen. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,
17) whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor, and will gather the wheat into his barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
18) Then with many other exhortations he preached good news to the people,
19) but Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias, his brother‘s wife, and for all the evil things which Herod had done,
20) added this also to them all, that he shut up John in prison.
21) Now it happened, when all the people were baptized, that, Jesus also having been baptized, and praying, the sky was opened,
22) and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, on him, and a voice came out of the sky, saying "You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased."
23) Jesus himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years old, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,
24) the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,
25) the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Naggai,
26) the son of Maath, the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein, the son of Joseph, the son of Judah,
27) the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri,
28) the son of Melchi, the son of Addi, the son of Cosam, the son of Elmodam, the son of Er,
29) the son of Josa, the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi,
30) the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonan, the son of Eliakim,
31) the son of Melea, the son of Menan, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David,
32) the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,
33) the son of Amminadab, the son of Aram, the son of Joram, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Judah,
34) the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,
35) the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah
36) the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,
37) the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan,
38) the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
Joshua 3:1-17
1) Joshua rose up early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel; and they lodged there before they passed over.
2) It happened after three days, that the officers went through the midst of the camp;
3) and they commanded the people, saying, When you see the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then you shall remove from your place, and go after it.
4) Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: don‘t come near to it, that you may know the way by which you must go; for you have not passed this way heretofore.
5) Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Yahweh will do wonders among you.
6) Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. They took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
7) Yahweh said to Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
8) You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When you are come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.
9) Joshua said to the children of Israel, Come here, and hear the words of Yahweh your God.
10) Joshua said, Hereby you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Hivite, and the Perizzite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Jebusite.
11) Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passes over before you into the Jordan.
12) Now therefore take twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, for every tribe a man.
13) It shall come to pass, when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of Yahweh, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, even the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand in one heap.
14) It happened, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over the Jordan, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant being before the people;
15) and when those who bore the ark were come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark were dipped in the brink of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest,)
16) that the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap, a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
17) The priests who bore the ark of the covenant of Yahweh stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel passed over on dry ground, until all the nation were passed clean over the Jordan.

This is a machine transcript of the sermon. It won't be completely accurate of what's said in the sermon.
Good to see you all like I've said numerous times, and I mean every single time that I said it is wonderful wonderful wonderful to be back home to see you all see all your smiling faces and unfortunately at the stickup of mine for little bit, but let's let some open up with a word press Michelle them what's on my heart lately. Got we thank you for who you are much you do or we thank you for for you gone, we thank you for your abundant love your overflowing love God, that you just pour out so much we may not be the same but for some reason you continually continually wrap us in your arms and love us forevermore gone is this word that you've given me, and that what I'd like to share. That's now my heart for a long time. God may it be used may be blessed, God, let it not be of mine owned my own understanding God. But let it be of yours. And for those who listen no, we thank you and we love you in your name and then why I did. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to preach on, and others. There's too many options. Sometimes I just ousted in my room last night and the I just think it's a myself like what on earth do I preach I know. I mean, there's seventy different things from you, note taking, Old Testament, New Testament school. I mean, there's numerous things you from, you know, I seek your old two and I'm not about talking from allies or as each your lives. I mean, this is numerous, numerous things and out. I was just praying last night and I was listening to one of my favorite favorite worship groups, which is Bethel worship. If you don't listen to them. You must check them out. Methyl is phenomenal and if a little but add for them. You know, they don't pay me to do as you must check out their CD you made me brave. It is a new release and you want upsilon is truly inspiring. But anyways. Besides that, a low-end commercial I was listening to their song I think it's called move and also their song. It is called with dance or dance with an AA talks about being so consumed by God, and that's one thing that you not was I was praying about yesterday in the past couple weeks after pastor had let me know asked me. I was just like you know, maybe make something creative something catchy that laconic heaven with a left hook at the last second. Now, I think it. I do no work be like famous features like Francis Chan below emotional sometimes when a preacher. You never know another thing about that but in our carbon. I'm thinking what exactly do you want me to preach about what you want me to share and a member insane to me. I want to share what's on your heart and lately I've been dealing with, or struggling with, but then so enamored by God 's presence and what it means to really preach and that's it. I really just been praying about lately and thinking about lately how God is so consumed by us and we are so consumed by God, and how that continually grows the wrong walk with him, and I've just been so I just wrapped up with that lately you know how there's different things we go through phases in your walk with God, of what is like, it's almost like your favorite movie you watch your newest movie like I just saw 's Dawn of the planet of the apes was the sequel to rise the plant gates that has been like my biggest flick lately. You know you'll see a data watch it again. I thought Transformers for it was horrible. Don't go see it him. I know there is. I like it. I like it took a lot, but that's my personal opinion, but it's something that it's like your favorite movie or a movie that you just recently seen RC that you just recently heard her the recent song in the radio it's at something that consumes you. It's always going through your head. I've had play again by Luke Bryan stuck in my head now you like country music, and it's been stuck in my head, but not that I'm consumed by the MMI making sense here that there's something that happens lately in your life for a movie that you've lately seen that just consumes you. That song has been playing figurehead is movie quotes that have been common out your mouth are those that is different song that you been hearing and it begins to consider. Not a bad way. Not a bad way, but it does begins flowing through your head, and as I was praying I was trying to decide who would be a good example of a person in the Bible who was so consumed with God that he had to share it and I couldn't think of anyone else better than Paul, I don't know about you know who might meet me personally if there is one person about the midheaven besides uses them to know that out there. It will be Paul. I am so is awesome and is probably one of my favorite men of God in the Bible is such a neat man, and how much I guess it would be a true example of how God can take something that is so run down something that is so evil, so the news so wretched and awful and make it something truly amazing and I was thinking, as it were exactly do I want to talk about work and I find Scripture that relate to the idea of being consumed by God so consumed by him that we want to preach about MS, what I wanted to title limits of the burial, nice coat continually preaching. I thought about if you want to share the story about Rahab in and in this lies in how she let them thoroughly. I will do that but I find it on the stock about Paul is that is been on my heart lately is continually preaching is one thing that realizes definitely working at him. East Coast RVs are behind Bedford, Ford is there are a lot of people as you folks know there are a lot of people who don't know God and are a lot of people who are generally miserable people, people who maybe have done nothing with her life. People who don't know any better, but to do nothing with their life, and I guess that's really hit me lately, and while my friends, coworkers, it works, or he goes to the Everett Assembly of God, and that's what we've been talking about is continually preaching is when it seems like there is no hope when it seems like things are pretty , how do we move through the MS: I want to talk about if we can move to the first Scripture, which would be second Timothy, I think I have your things, chapter four, sulfur and correct the solicitor to second Timothy, chapter four Delphi stories were turning there I had publisher to ensure this is her best single estimate I had all my my Bibles, my message Bible and my and I be vital. My fire Bible I had in my backpack I had my MacBook in the eighties my MacBook today by Denis Ehrlich, all describe my MacBook as it was not my Stan charging any. I even think about it and I love my bottles at home so you can save it pretty much less of a person because of that now, but. But let's start with with chapter four, this is Paul talking to Timothy and cottages sharing with him what's been on Paul's mind and what Paul would goals. Paul has for Timothy, so it was just this is regional chapter. That's one thing I would been working on the as for nothing wrong with point out specific scriptures, but I want to redo the whole thing that wake County gives you the picture what's going on so I will start you with the beginning of chapter four, it says in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, you would judge the living and the dead, and in the view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction for the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you keep your head in all situations endure hardship, do work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry, for I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing about this is personal remarks of a Paul, goes into public powers been going through. Personally, lately as we says, do your best to come to me quickly forward. Dana Sosa, Dennis because he love this world, has deserted me and has bought two thousand and that someone like presence has gone through Galatia and Titus to Dalmatia. Only Luke is with may get Mark and bring him with you because he is helpful to me in my ministry. I sent my kids to Ephesus, which well when you come, bring the cloak that I left with carpets and trust in my scrolls, especially the parchments, Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of fun the Lord will repay him for what he's done you two should be on your guard against him because he's strongly oppose our message at my first defense. No one came to my support, but everyone deserted may not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength so that threw me the message might be fully proclaimed in all the Gentiles might hear Alice delivered from the lion 's mouth the Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to the end had to the heavenly kingdom to be glory for ever and ever. Amen. In his final greetings. He says great Priscilla and Aquila in the house of analysis for us and our rat tests stayed in Corinth and I left for feminist sick and& do your best to get here before winter. Your list greets you, and so it is prudent prudence Limited let Linus Claudia and all the brothers, the Lord will be with your spirit. Grace be with you. It is a lot taken back in and that's what they have been really trying to work on my sermons and as I grow in my relationship with God. I been trying to work on sewing a whole bunch of myself and taken a whole chapter in the breaking apart in pieces, and I I think it just sometimes blows my mind of how consumed Paul was my Christ, and by God, and if you really think about this man went through literally have been and was opposite. He went through heaven and hell. He is been through every possible thing this man has killed Christians. He has tortured Christians and he has been tortured himself that it if you think about it. It's just truly amazing what Paul went through because they where worried. It's amazing what Paul went through in order to further the kingdom of God, and that's what I want to talk about is how can we use Paul as an example for our own lives and I was praying about it and thinking out of the one to which ends up happening more than often is Smith, Cheryl, long sermon, I don't want to prolong this and stretch it out. I want to get straight to the point. I've had a couple speakers, a chapel come in and they would come in and share fifties minute sermon and they would for me with it. And now another thing long sermons about is not what I'm trying to say some sermons take more, there's more explaining to do. There's more breaking down, but this this message. I want to be a simple message and encouraging message and a challenging message and is I was reading through the second Timothy and I was praying about it and just pondering upon it. Thinking upon meditating upon it, and I was trying to decipher how can I relay a simple message through the example of Paul because Paul was a very complex man. Paul was certainly a very highly esteemed them. Paul was no world renown Paul was a great man. He was a very intelligent human being, but yet at the same time a very relatable that the very word relatable human being is rightly comports on to you that that's that's what I was trying to focus on it. I love how Paul talks about it here in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction for the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears dear Ms. Isaiah was deciphering this and breaking it down. I was realizing what Paul was warning us of Allah saying, be diligent be hungry after God don't be consumed by God, did you know who God is, but also beware of those who like to manipulate and change the Scripture for their own right word for their own orders, but for their own gain would be the right word for there for their own gain, and that is, what Paul has been pondering upon the thinking upon in second Timothy and what he was sharing with Timothy as well and be honest for a second fabulous is okay 's honesty. Okay enough about what, why, but something that is been on my heart lately that is not bit on doubting God none of them questioning gone, but I think that God sometimes likes us to be honest with him, but something that I've been working on. Personally whether it be with personal struggles family struggles relationship struggles, whatever it may be coworkers struggles sometimes it's easy to think that God is not there that you sometimes wonder how can God be in the situation. How can God work through this. How could God work through a person like me, that's an example that I wanted to show on Paul a view thing about Paul. Paul I said earlier, had murdered people had kill people had persecuted Christians and it's amazing how God can take something like that and totally revamp it and transform it. I think that's truly amazing of what God wants to do with us personally. Dennis was been on my heart lately, you know what can God do within me. How can God transform me how can God continually have me grow how can I continually grow in God 's presence aided to be honest, sometimes it's it's rather difficult not to say that I have a tough but is being nineteen and on. Not that old, or by thinks of vintage nineteen that they own the whole world that they know everything, but that's something that I've I have been trying to work on is learning to be humble. That is a difficult, difficult, difficult thing. There are many things that I would like to afford. There are many things I would like to do what I like to have a higher paying job. Yes, I'm nineteen. I don't expect to be making money now, but that's one thing that I've been struggling with, but dealing with her trying to get over is that the age of nineteen I face my share of struggles. Yes, I'm only nineteen in our life can get easier life can get harder. It depends what life throws at you, but that's the beauty of God. The beauty of what God can do for us and what God does in us, and so on. A little tangent there, but how that ties in is that it will will will will put Timothy was Timothy was a very young man, and it was times were Timothy was eager to go into the ministry and go full-fledged and go, but Paul had to teach him that you are still young. You still have many things to learn many things to work on many things to grow it. And that's what I've been working on lately and also I want to talk about is that no matter where we are in our life age, maturity, spiritual maturity, whatever it may be, is it being humble for all of the God rewards it as one thing that I I've learned is that, do I have big dreams for myself. Yes we all have big dreams for yourself I want to go do this. I want not to preach of this church. I would love this opportunity, but I have to know that in order to reach that goal. In order to get that goal. I have to be grounded in my face and I have to be humble. I have to work at it. I have to learn and also Paul is teaching Timothy Hussein Timothy, you have to be humble. You have to learn you have to grow you have to move forward in your relationship with Christ. You can't be complacent. You cannot be happy or content with where you're at. He's these challenging Timothy to go for a backwards just to recite backwards yes, but go forward and that's that's what Paul is talking about here to Saint Timothy, people will discourage you. People will twist Scripture to I I was watching a video of the neck in a mentioned the religion of another religion, who had twisted Scripture, and there was a Christian and he said I will not go by. I will not have this scripture twisted because that would be going against what God says that would be denying the Holy Spirit is, I cannot go against that and he stood up from NASA policy is beware of those who will twist things she will break you down, who will hurt you to be honest, the world is not a easy place. The world will break you down in the words of Rocky in my form. I is new is loudest movie. He said the war will break you down to your knees, the world will get you with the best fit possible, but is not about how hard you can hit. It's about how hard you can get it and still get backup and that that's what Paul is explaining to Timothy and others are not going to deepen this out. I love to go deep into my sermon, yes, but I want this to be something very simple. The minute we all can grab where we are in life, whatever situation were dealing with whatever were going through, we can use Paul as an example, and Timothy is an example is growing and moving forward in our relationship with Christ and down. I guess it's something that I also enjoy about Paul is how honest Paul can be analyzed whether you were struggling with something and were questioning God was saying, God, why would you do this, why would you let this happen to me. God enjoys that honesty because the number that were honest with God is the moment that were honest with ourselves, because you could deny things you could move things behind, you know, with a personal story of myself in in high school have a lot of issues I had issues with our girlfriend issue which is not like a major insane issue, but I'll be honest, I had an issue with liking girls, I know I did something that can send me a something that eats your partner sites. They move at USR 's the goat you and it's something that if you keep denying that you don't have a problem. Eventually, you believe that life that's all about being honest with yourself because the moment with your honest with God and yourself is the moment we are reaching a place for yours so broken down under so apparent as you can, growing economic before. From there, people always say that sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to grow a move for two that's true, just of the same title have to hit rock bottom. You can always grow move for from where you're at, but sometimes it takes that officer Timothy hit rock bottom. A few times being Timothy being a young man say, I have these great wonderful dreams I have these ideas these things. It has been racing through my head. I have these things I want to share with people that I want to show people. Now I want people to experience what I've experienced Paul tells Timothy B patients be grounded in your faith. Paul gives Timothy a command to go. And that's what I want. That's what I wanted to get out of this message is that God commands us to go. We all face hardships of data go into a little bit of Joshua was Luke off to go until I can paraphrase most of it. You can check it up later. Make sure that I'm right and correct them align what you'll get out of talking about Joshua three where is turned to Josh was written statement. I was trying to find it. My prayers less than in my studying I was trying to find a home good examples of people besides Paul fit never cease their preaching. They continually preached at. I guess that Josh will be a good example. This new can read through Joshua Friedel what he talks about in Joshua three is Joshua, saying, and in the stories being told of whatever they had to cross the Jordan River and they had the ark of the covenant. Now if I could put this into perspective, let's have Dalton, Zach and Tyler, replace the promise I won't embarrass you bus the worst thing ever dreaded was Sunday morning. The pastor would ask me writer Brian, you come up individually embarrassing things less cluttered. I splutter you don't get the pellet was unable to paint a picture, here's what's going on. Let's say that if you are carrying the Ark of the covenants of dolls in phase. This way you come over here, come towards me. Come towards me, Doctor Hans Wagner had all of their budget and will render the same that night, your Joshua, you're hanging out everywhere. It's a coming reader by you guys are lifting up the ark of the covenant now Joshua says what God says to Joshua, I want you to cross the Jordan River. Joshua said, however, for unity of God says, I commend you and I ask you and I tell you to grab the ark of the covenant have the men to carry it up above their heads. The caring about them. Is there some reason military duck of the covenant up like that. So is there, walking and say here's the water. The water 's right here in Joshua says to his men. Men carry the ark of the covenant over here& you come on over to Joshua says that in his instant freeze the extent that the ark of the covenant comes in and they states eight years. The water crates write about your policies have right here, don't come followed behind by Jason did they step in the water. The water began flowing move apart at his picture that in your mind for a second record. If you are all of the ark of the covenant also new step in water to use. I dislike that same technologies and went, and spread apart and you guys stepped in the water in years Joshua hanging out back here with his people and saying like, holy cow, the Ark of the covenant. God just what the Jordan River. It is picture that in your mind for a second of how insane that would be or how that would be now to be like saying this to be like us and say he was who's the leader Zach. Zach is the leader of honesty Israelites, the Christians Jesus, take your Bible to Windows step in the Nile River. For some reason word in the now River Indians, and did they step in the largest explodes in either side increases big walls. You would never get across is everybody would have a smart phones out taking pictures of it. If you really think about it. They did want across them is boron try to say is that it's crazy how awesome God 's mouth. You saw something like that. I would you put together give Mister Noel. Yes, if you had a histogram account and you get these of what you post on Facebook like all look with God# God 's doing great things by your walking across. You would want to show the whole entire world was going to understand it has them most of these young men around the plus is that I consists with Escalona was going on with with Joshua here, Josh, or what is following God 's command and wants to move through the Jordan River and I'm sure Joshua his death throughout the way, I'm sure Joshua was probably like all organ across the Jordan River, images that help bake the Jordan River is everything that you're stepping down in teriyaki of the covenant, which probably was pretty happy. The countdown in and they're just standing there in all of what God can do in all of the wonder of God pages. It's it's truly amazing. I was it national fine arts, which was in the slush. It was Orlando L enough in human years, ever heard of the famous youth pastor Gmail on a measures of a Virginia man choose a sum is gone no renowned world-renowned youth pastor and cheap cheap breach the sermon and it was the most random sermon I've ever heard in my life, and she had three different points in the same exact sermon, all saying different things, and for some how she she. Well this all together again about some hoping to do it. The end of this. Hopefully I'll make sense to Joshua was standing in awe and wonder of God, of what God can do when they crossed the Jordan River Paul experienced miracles in his own life last person I want to talk about is in Luke chapter through the unoccupied. I notice him pretty good. It is about John the Baptist and John the Baptist was in the water. Nonetheless, it was held famous water is in the Bible. Now click the silent famous person at you. You never see using it so popular in the Bible random, but John the Baptist is standing in the water so it would be like all the people were up here and John was hanging out down here in the water. He's just straight up challenge these relaxant and he's preaching his guts out, probably just screaming and shouting public really really write it to his job is big, nasty beard. He was a big woolly man is big dude just screaming and shouting and I'm sure people die in a what what what does misfire you screaming about with this Messiah that he shouting about it is down here. The water yell into the people screaming and shouting preach in his guts out and down. It is the more you preach the more people came towards him people asking him questions. There was Roman soldiers that some questions there were peasants that asked him questions. There were lawmakers and anybody could come up to him and then at the end Jesus comes up and believed John and Jesus word cousins corrected that in the presence on .net. They were cousins. Now if you like, say, my cousin Aubrey relieved Mike, said there like Jesus, which is insane to think about to be relate to Jesus, but John is sitting there preaching his heart out, giving it his all pouring out his heart exclaiming exits like when you're so experienced and overwhelmed by God that you become physically and spiritually tired afterwards, but I'm sure that John disliked last week probably exhausted, but the same time he so energized by the spirit of God. So John is sitting here buses standing here and he is screaming and shouting children. The water relaxing preaching his guts out all the sudden Jesus walked up the delight I sit here in church on the fly. John the Baptist and like us, and in church and then Jesus just walked in the back door and vital like action, saying everybody would be quiet. Jesus comes walking down and he goes at the Johnny asked John to baptize and John baptizes him in that moment, I'm is one of the services stick in my mind the most. The pastor again preached was he talked about it was John the Baptist was a different John, but it is that moment when I think about one John did Jesus in the water, and he lifted him back up. Could you imagine that feeling actually holding the son of God in your hands about Mary that about Joseph sitting at the strategy how often do you say that you were never spanked and he was a good get now, but to think about. That's actually hold him in your arms that would blow my mind be able to humbling experience was how John actually held Jesus by baptizing in the name of the father, son and the Holy Spirit. In that moment that he brought Jesus up and God speaking declining. This is my son, the Messiah in the Delta, Dutch spots we could you imagine how truly amazing. That would be to hold Jesus giving about Joshua. Joshua got to hear Jesus Paul got to interact, but I didn't get to see Jesus with you after anyways, but Paul being consumed by by Jesus. And if you think about that how truly amazing. That would be so and trying to tie this all together, which I promise I will try my best to do another three random random Scriptures, but if you think about it. It all starts with Joshua hearing from God. Being humble and sing got in front, across from the middle have any bowtie does have a bunch of people have bring with me and God. Say I want you to take up the ark of the government go stand in the water, little part like a problem to ensure no one to go shopping in the water parts in the ways made all because he was oh begins to what Don Hasson to do when he goes to John the Baptist. If it's like that river is within office that river is the entryway into our own heart. So Joshua said okay on the way out trust you got allow you to move and move regular water than John the Baptist .exe got the whole Jesus in the power. The love and that overwhelming feeling right there in your hand. The clock. Manley 's cry ever now and he is holding Jesus right there in his arms as a saving with us. We listen to Jesus. It comes through, we know Jesus right in here now. That's like after Magee always said no. From a church is not good at a health regard, we are the church. We are the body of Christ come to church doesn't get you saved. It's all about starting with Joshua, allowing him in being obedient. I see, trusting that God will do something insane because God will, but that's for sure God will so it's trusting that God will come through God will come into us and we hold got there. Simple as that God is dwelling within us living with us such an amazing feeling and it onto Paul is going out and doing in training those continually preaching continually moving it all. I am I I I I tell couple people here and there, how I actually got called into the ministry I was a youth camp. Brian Porzio is my favorite evangelists I've heard probably and down. He was talking about that night God being our first true love, we all go through life searching for both well advertised on TV and movies. It's it's everywhere, as in songs and talked about God being our first true love them. We work at the end all your sister do was to write a love letter to God 's ticket pocket stick in our wallets taken aback back in a room to depend backup front end and leave going to move all the chairs out of the way. Everybody just sat down, roll personal cubicles, God just wrote a memo that feeling of writing that in the case of letter to God. This is long but it was certainly the same time as I'm writing this letter. I finished it in for a long time I'd felt the call to preach and member walking up to the front of my bullpen back to know if we keep it, but I can sum up, I member is also my way up the preacher, Grammy, brochures, and I to talk you into battle. Unlike all men. What did I do put down what promises I do something like that has nothing like that. I said for a long time you been feeling the call ministry having said yes I have is that you run away from a lot, don't you sit down is that you struggle with the fact that you love people so much that you are poor. All that you have that you forget to fill yourself sadly, yes. And he said I'm here to conference you that God has called you to ministry. God is called you to preach. Doug calls us to preach some other than others, but it's all about being Joshua moving along God, trusting God, being John the Baptist holding the hot I think the right ear against the stomach and as insane, lifting him up in them were Paul, who is so consumed by God intellectually, spiritually, any way you could imagine. So consumed by God that he wants to continue a perch lets your life be a testimony of what God has done for you. Let your life speak actress actions always speak louder than words. I could sit up here and preach the most boring sermon. The most amazing sir. Maybe the okay sermon doesn't matter what I say it's all about how I acted out as a Joshua didn't follow my actions/ allow one to talk about today is continually preaching. There are three random points, but only going to come together like ours. I hope they can together like that, but can't ask that we all come up front, we usually do for communion and then front pews& pray for low bit is okay let go of their money. He can sit down on the element whatever is most comfortable for you. That's one thing that I have been praying about lately is or so consumed by his prayer and how we could speak we can act, but nothing gets change unless we pray and to share a story before I pray I was it youth camp everything in his hands. If campus refinance house, but I was a youth camp and not rented out. Speaking and he said do you want some of my ministry. I asked God that he would give me something to show me something that would continually motivate me and keep me on the path around my ministry throughout my preaching throughout my life. Give me give me people to see. Give me faces and he said one night as he was praying he was so consumed by God that it has in it. What is a was closed in the spirit of God. He saw faces of kids he would reach in his ministry someday and is that why we were brought back to our rooms and your reference cannot be a healthy pronounce it. I've never met the gun for my life. I want you can by myself. That year, and the use of a terabyte Northglenn verb is like move towards the new steamrollered through that okay with all the better boys were bombed some of the top bunk and is open when departing on likes what always do and down to guys and want to share with you a story said I wanted to give you this example, so we now pastor Randy talked about faces of kids even seen his ministry was a G.I. was awesome and he said why. Same thing happened to me here, but that's so cool you out and down music, and I sure with you. He said please do so. Ross and their reliance on this challenge. No, and he said, you know, I was probably about twenty eight years old. Thirty years old and I was moving through my youth ministry days, and he said that the one night, he was fled riding of all things, and he was praying in the system felt the presence of God, that was just so real and as he was praying he was going downhill for some reason he had an extra hill. It was a little bit steeper and some further he went into the woods. He says he opened his eyes on the trees he saw faces of kids even see in his ministry Sunday and was awesome, guys like anybody's woman was in the service of a less what I want. He said that young man top bunk, playing guitar was one of those faces that I saw on water ministries. He said some of this kids faces. I've not yet seen, so he said no at the ripe age of sixty five, he said, I do not piece. I do know that my ministry is not yet done. I know that God has called me to greater things continually preaching continually moving forward so I asked that we could just all bow our heads and pray ultra my mic off was just a couple minutes interest in prayer. Give me music players like the pooch on spot on& pray and help me to continually preach help me move help me grow and what can I do to reach this or lost him him. I would like to him open at this time. If I could ask very if there's anybody like to be prayed with that you liked, fun, and we could try with you unless they come toward members for adults like to come up here. Pray for them as well. It am only nineteen nineties to doing this kind of stuff, but I'll resize that if we could does all pray together as one. If there was anybody would like to be prayed with. Please come forward I would love to if you are sure the everyone else like a pretty was well so there's anyone that would like to be pray with. Please come for, if not we can all pray together and not in a grandson. We can consider anybody that would like to be primitive if not that's okay this one is open up the opportunity now. I will send this. Let's listen us with prayer, Lord, we thank you that we come to you. We ask you for your presence got word that we people always say that in all the back and fill your presence, your presence is already here that we thank you for that is we go through our life, is it at every step that we take every place that we drive every place that we walk away runaway bikes, whatever it may be God that you are right there with us. God, the church, the body of Christ honest you living with MS God, we thank you for that. But I pray that you would touch every single person, including myself here this morning. God, that you would use us collect you call us to continually preach like Joshua, like John the Baptist, like Paul, like Timothy Weber whatever phase in life. We are in God, let us be used to our full potential and further beyond that will be thank you and we need you more than ever give us a great Sunday. A great beginning to this week. God let things change when they want. People will notice is differently. Lord, let us continually preach what all who else when oil ceases God continuing, but we thank you and we need you more than ever in your name and on. Thank youGood to see you all like I've said numerous times, and I mean every single time that I said it is wonderful wonderful wonderful to be back home to see you all see all your smiling faces and unfortunately at the stickup of mine for little bit, but let's let some open up with a word press Michelle them what's on my heart lately. Thank you
