1 Corinthians 13
1) If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don‘t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
2) If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don‘t have love, I am nothing.
3) If I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don‘t have love, it profits me nothing.
4) Love is patient and is kind; love doesn‘t envy. Love doesn‘t brag, is not proud,
5) doesn‘t behave itself inappropriately, doesn‘t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
6) doesn‘t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
7) bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8) Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
9) For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
10) but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.
11) When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.
12) For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.
13) But now remain faith, hope, and love: these three. The greatest of these is love.
John 3:16-17
16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
17) For God didn‘t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Luke 10:27
27) He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
1 John 4:10
10) In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Galatians 5:22
22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Her eye this morning. We are looking at first Corinthians thirteen, and were reading from the message Bible and I thought I would read the entire chapter. First Corinthians thirteen. It's called the win. Love, while actually, I'll start with chapter twelve verse thirty one the last part that says, now I will show you the most excellent way. So Paul is writing to the church at Corinth, and he's given them some help in encouraging them along with the with the gifts of the spirit and Diane and that the chapter. The book talks about the gifts and the fruits in the administration out of all this stuff works into the body of Christ, but the primary focus is on first chapter thirteen and timing about what what love is. So if I speak with human eloquence angelic ecstasy, but don't love. I'm nothing but the craving of a rusty gate if I speak God 's word with power revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day. And if I have faith that says the amount of junk and it jumps by don't love. I'm nothing if I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the state to be burned as a monitor, but I'm not, but I don't love. I've gotten nowhere. So no matter what I say what I believe and what I do. I'm bankrupt without love, love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self love doesn't want what it doesn't have love doesn't strut. Love doesn't have a swelled head doesn't force itself on others. It's always me first doesn't fly off the handle doesn't keep score of the sins of others, and I lost in a new, yet there is a good scoreless in the mother. I always liked that one. Whenever I do not marriage things I don't perform weddings, I'll stop there and say okay this is a prerequisite. If not, I owe you this now don't keep score on the other one doesn't describe the sins of others doesn't unravel when others grovel takes pleasure in the flowering of truth puts up with anything. Trust God, always, always looks for the best. Never looks back. But he's going onto the end. Love never dies inspired speech will be over, someday praying in tongues will end understanding will reach its limits. And we know only a portion of the truth and what we say about God is always incomplete, but when the complete arrives our incompleteness will be canceled. When I was an infant. My mother 's breast. I gurgled and food like an infant when I grew up, I left those infant ways for good. We don't yet see things clearly. We're splitting in a fog. When this bill won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright will say at all. Then say it all as clearly as God sees us knowing him directly, just as he knows us, but for right now. Until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation trust steadily in God. Hope unswervingly live extravagantly and the best of the three is love, there is an extravagant floppy when we talk about that a few weeks ago after initial story. Yes, we have usually dealt with the grandkids here, Rachel Caine brought Jack and we have all three, but thankful for all the help and all the stuff yesterday we were in the car and getting out and I was helping Jack out of the car seat and he says I love you on the F- MS is why let me more and then Emma says I love you Lord and God ways the dweller learned. I come from. I love you more than God ways are a gal at the three -year-old talking her four -year-old talking. I love you more than gotten laid. I didn't have a comeback for that you know I sound like Lolita or she heard that somewhere or see how this process of the elimination going on in her head. I don't know, but we look at love, then we have different concepts of it. We have different ideas of it, we know the child's concept. This can be measured in in the momentary things up of what take place like Rachel would not let her stand on the seat in front of her so she hurt her feelings, and she was crying over there and I want to hold her and she says no I said while, you know, someday you can be a singer. She says I am watching you can be an artist in the synergies as I already I can evening. I wanted me, and I'm looking at the okay word word that were about a thousand here where love is not just God loves. Then you can be anything you want in the world, and this is a four -year-old so the great concepts of lava are are limited in our perspectives on women are concepts of them and yelled there in an hardliner understanding. I mean this is that I can see all things I can believe all things I can not all things, and we can we look at this and we think of it in a childish concept with ligament in a team concept with a given young adult concept we've been committed and involved in the senior life moment, what is love a callous all to say the word love, love, they get are now that love with compassion, love is in love with sarcasm love is a love with anger login to the word love is interpreted. Many times, not by the dictionary, but by the emulsion and the expression behind someone. Emily Sehgal was not only what the word defined in the dictionary means is what is conveyed in the emulsion and the expression goes with it. So the Corinthians that are having problems and follows writing to them and call them on the changing game and their concept of their operation on how they focus on God, how the people of God, and how bad they allow God 's love to work through them, and how that it is conveyed through them to helping and loving others. So as we look at this idea. In this concept of what love is presented here in Ankara and the Corinthians, I came across these understandings that love, love, and the concept of what is God 's love for humanity. So whenever were thinking of God. We have to have an example, the greatest examples of God 's love for us and the great Scripture that goes with that is John three sixteen now we all know that in hopefully no one in the King James version for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I remember that John three seventeen for God sent not his son in the world to condemn the world, with the world through him might be saved. God 's coming was not to bring condemnation, but the brings salvation restoration. So in the end, the message Bible has John three sixteen is this is how much God loved the world, BJ his one and only son. And this is why so many no one need be destroyed. So if God 's desire is that we come into a relational experience with with with him that we recognize our fault on our failures and now that they no longer have to influence also being drawn along behind us and that we believe in him that we have this relational experience that changes everything. One of God in Christ. I read this. It says his enemies could never have taken Jesus and his father had not given him his interface could never have taken him if the father had given him so in this counsel of God. Christ is given to be the sacrifice of God for the sins of the world. AA to say that he never committed. He took upon himself so that we no longer take it. We no longer carry it in here, here they are loving world that is unloving world like novel love of a God who loves them so Jesus is the sacrifice of a loving God to an unloving world that an unloving world might know the love of God. Greater love has no one than this, than a man lay down his life for his friends within a word love again. Love that again. Greater love has no man than this, and the man lay down his life for his friends. I told you these things for a purpose that my joy might be your joy in your joy holy mature didn't know the joy was mature that there is a maturation. There is an active majority of next and maturation. There is a maturity that comes with our live in are enjoying on as the Pentagon happened to join depends upon that which resides within the heart and so this is my command that you love one another. The way that I love you so that we may get to see about what love is with you to see in the reflection of Jesus Christ and how much he loves us, and this is the very best way to long to put your life on the line for your friends so used. So we look at this and friendship has a way of living and loving and caring and giving and seeing and receiving an e-mail but not with score and not with all those things listed first written thirteen kind words can be short and easy to speak, but they'll act, but their echoes are endless kind words are easy to speak, but their echoes are endless. L whenever we think of someone's love for us whether these are mother or father, a friend, their kindness continues to echo through our lives ever have someone that was, you know that you really love you and care for you and it's one of the things we we take for granted that they are people who love us the most we often take for granted the most until that love is not buried and of course we miss it and then we have this absence. But then, but we also have the echo of that love I've ever is the first Mother's Day will have without my mother and my mother would always call how was your sermon today just that every Sunday is Mother's Day. It was always the layout. What did you say about mother 's nose running, and when we develop wanted to know what I said about her. That's what she was asking out and job. It's just one of those things that give you, you take for granted the opportunities you have whatever you love somebody and you know they're always always there is been there my entire life with and until this last year whenever she died, but you still have the echoes of her actions. You still have the echoes are words you shall have those echoes of people 's love in your life. The people who love you and how do they love you whether there's still here with you that you can interact with are not the still the will of their love. There's still the role of early August. Still, the imprint of their fingers upon your hearts that even though their hand, maybe gone the threads in the beyond the DNA in the fingerprint on their life still hold your heart and this is a and then they understandingly have about love that God loves us when we were unlovable, the God was still touching our life. Whenever we didn't love him and he loved us. For God so loved the world that he gay, so we have this antigen. This expression allowed him, and lots in Christ, so the love God has for us and then we find in Luke chapter ten describes what is to be our love for God. Luke chapter ten verse twenty two. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. While we know that we can love God with all our heart, soul, mind, but I'm not touching my neighbor now that they don't deserve it. They don't need it and I like in any other Scriptures is not the love God whom you not seen, and not love your neighbor, whom you have seen while that statement implied insane and I'd love to them. I never saw them again with me. I wouldn't did I wouldn't miss along that that's when you paraphrase of your wondering, that's not in the block. Okay let's then when he ran ramblings okay, but the best way look upon God as the best on the best and out. He yet when we think of what love is and if highest and greatest context is God, and whenever we look at God. We look at how that he has given us everything every opportunity he given us every opportunity to take this person that we are and in and help this person become what he created us to be here. The most admirable, it is infinitely perfect ball. Excellent God who loves us in person. Who cares for us. Above everything else and every relationship that we have upon earth with our families, friends will never is just a dim reflection of the great Islam that we can experience in life is a dim reflection of the love God has for so our love for God. When we see God in behalf of this admiration. We had this gratitude we have this expectation of how he's going to move in our life. And that's why the Scripture say that we are to praise God in every situation like did you ever thought. Think about just praising God of God, I thank you for today. I think for the blessings of this day, and it is a number before we get started before we get started with our day to be thankful to God for the day and what we're doing is worth setting in motion the gratitude of expectation that God is going to do it. It draws the day that we led waiting to that is the worst. They however have in my life, and we might be right, but we could maybe change it by saying that live in the best day of my life. We see things entirely differently, who now I can see you at all. I see that hand had been narrowly, I feel all what a nice change. I just took something away. I took away my corrective lenses who looking at life through love and understand now again neo- it is unlikely that old song. No, don't worry be happy to contact Hannah Flippin, don't worry, I'm not singing- you're happy because I'm not, but that was not looking for corrective lenses. That will listen the corrective lens that we use for looking at my is in the blood in the Scriptures is through Christ. And if we have Christ in our heart and we have this expectation and we give thanks to God for this day. We are looking at the perspective of God 's love and life in his word, and that God will cause all things to come together for good to work together for good to those who love him, and who are called an experience that calling in the heart and Internet calling me that there is an expectation that God is that it is something good in my life. And if you don't have that expectation will allow Kathy to prepare a birth, a celebration for you. Even it's not your birthday, so are all of our lobster caught on all of our love to God must be sincere and firmer because it have to be anything less. If we love him with all of our heart, with all our soul, with all of my mind allowed that is as strong as death a lot of it is knowledgeable as Christ upon the cross and passion along the way can give account of and reason for not reason that he would love me because I'm so whatever reason, for he loved me because of my imperfections because I'm a vessel, and I'm a person that he was a guide for Jay-Z as we think of Mother's Day as we think of love. This isn't about okay mothers, your a lot under this. It's about Christian. We need to win. I need to live up to all of this I am asking you if you wait on this to someone who is in need of loudness. The person who was a longing in who I has has not experienced the love of God, who is not had this experience of God in their life, then you become the only Bible never read and idea become the only person that reflects the name the image of God. I do know now I look back over our life, and no on the farm and things people say what he had a hard life. My mother had a hard life because you took care of us that our life was easy and it on my anti- vacuum when I was a child you know, we would have been the cattle. Cows and not being feeding and all that. My mom did most of that she does a lot of the work every morning she would be always is in the barn was always first of my first she was pushing us out the door. She was second enough at times we do now is not wanting to get out is called in our local farming, the cartoon was a middleware in the thermometers thirty below and the cows looking at another cause is all router console. I see figure the water, water down getting the right amount. The farmer joke now. My mother would take care of all of these things, you know, being the Catalan. They shared a cab, John Carroll can just love to take every cat and theology. Always make sure that they had a bottle known in the elect. He always had music have you taken off the collar about day or two in the newsfeed, and bottle and you feed them a big bottle a little thing, though with a plastic jar into the beginning year therapy slobbering sock and and all the stuff your mother never did Jana bottle and you did what you get. It ran right through your stomach and upper. They want more. Maybe fortune on it and trying to get more milk out of my mother would always take care of them. Why is it that this event. The delay. There was this lady at the hospital brought her baby. She's a nurse. She brought her baby and and and all the nurses all the women on the entire unit, laughing or flocking around this check is maybe what is it about a baby. The mother 's just drop everything and go home converge on the child in all no wonder this can do for you. I thought again say I love you can do this again to set their needs and now any at all the lovers are flocking to the child and what isn't and why. It's like you drawn there. Will this is the love of God. What is there about you will save his life. What is around me. They make me so special. They gobbled loudly, just as mothers are drawn to a little child, and wanting to see hold hold with what's her name. His name went out on that's so cute in looks just like I did that on the way it looks just like a what is happening. The meaning that means the little person, but were drawn to the weight we would well how what why would God be drawn to me because you're you, just as mothers are drawn to a child, a baby, God is drawn to each of us the love of God is revealed in the cross. First John four ten this is love, not that we love God with any loved us so this idea. I love amazing love this idea of love is not that we loved God, but that he loves, loves said again, loves us. This is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for sin. Love you loved us when we had no love for him. This baby. There's no love coming out of this child for the mother is alive that is therefrom. This child now when Moses was put in the basket and shutdown of the Nile. It was all because a mother loves and women sacrifice Weigel or maybe it all the child children of Israel never to kill all of their sons with the Egyptian Egyptian rule and video that's a whole different sermon, but the idea was the Nile was one of the greatest gods of the Egyptians, and here is the God of the Hebrews placing a deliverer in a basket and putting them in the mouth of the world of the nine with a trust that God had a purpose for what was going, and God would send the more think this is the Pentagon looked in our life, and he knows our future and he knows our purpose. Last of the point is calling to bring us to himself so that we can change love to open the door for us to lay our wrongdoings. Our sins are guilt fire miseries and history and asking for his forgiveness, and he lobbed us and sent his son is atoning sacrifice to playing the way to playing away our failures and faults he loved us. He loves up and his love for us is revealed on the cross in the fourth. Islam is the part of the fruits of God 's Spirit that he gives to us. Galatians five twenty two but when. But what happens when we live God 's way. So you see what happens when children are loved in it. Like to know what the statistics are because sometimes, kids grow up in loving homes and they just turn out bad, and there is sometimes the kids grow up and that homes and they turn out good, but what are the percentages of people who grow up in families where they experience love. What happens to their character. What happens to their their thinking process. What happens to them in their developmental process because they are loved and because they have this laundromat foundation, and maybe it doesn't come from you what I don't know where it comes from, but it needs to come from cities to come from our life and from our experience and our acceptance in our challenges in our boundaries because God gives us loves us more than we could ever imagine what happens when we live God 's way brings gifts into our lives living God 's way brings gifts into our lives. Okay, back concept. What is the what is a con drop in online when I read that I thought of you know what here's a present, you live God 's way. I'll give you this, but that's not the way it is easy. Read on it says he brings gifts into our lives much the same way that throat appears in an orchard. Things like affection for others, love exuberance about life. He goes on. How does all this thing. How does all this time becomes lost away the fruit appears in an orchard. Christ is the vine. We are the branches. The front of our lives. The fruit of love is something that is as natural as apples growing on a tree. It is a present that we come and sit under the tree. It is not what comes out of the tree. So as we live for God. It is the salvation of the come up and give a gift to you and say here that says what you are. This is this is the gift I want you to unwrap input on this is the gift that is for you to have an work in your life is brand-new car. If there is a brand-new tractor under you farmer asked, as I understand it, but you see, that's not the gift that God is giving the camp that God is giving is something that is as natural as root coming on a branch what God will do in your life. What God will do in your life when God will do in your life will be as natural as an apple growing on a tree. What God will do in your life is as natural as an apple growing luxury you'll grow it is like you guys said Darren is a dump on you follow the heavens, it will grow as naturally as an apple on the tree. Our new nature is the inkwell is out of our new nature. Our unity, our new nature runs deep, deep into the nature of God. He is divinely other branches, and I think I've never visited the illustration about the Sequoia trace a giant sequoias may remember that we were taken in never the giant sequoias. How is it that these files using thousands of pounds of weight in these massive trees and that their massive height. How can they be this way. While it's their root system, their root system is interconnected. And if one tree at the edge of the forest is in hazards is that the water source. It will transfer of that water through the entire route system to the one at the further standard and that that wrote system isn't just the obvious well-rounded feature even blown over error whenever you see, it toppled over and there's this route around around, maybe fifteen or fifteen feet out bigotry while the giant sequoias. They are interconnected. The whole way across the force and that their root system is maybe ten feet deep so that when the wind blows, they are drawing upon entire road system is connected to all the other trades and interconnected and it's ten feet deep oh, like a trampoline that whenever the weight of that strain pushes down the dozen flying through the road system in the road system supports it, and if you put the high in the outside and on the tray on the farthest out in the work that I will work its way through the almost didn't want the entire resistance, but through a lot of the root system of other trades. We are the body of Christ. Each one of us has gifted for the entire body and what you are is a support system and nourishment to other individuals and what other individuals are is a support system and nourishment to you and no matter what your gifts. No one are, what your abilities. What you do is as natural as natural as an apple growing on a tree love mother you love with his natural as apples growing tree while all those ladies gathered around the baby. It is natural as apples growing on a tree. Why is it that you can sing and some can sing while in something, give, well, something do this something do that. It is natural as apples growing on a tree to you think that the gift things of God working in your life so one apples the and just think about how many different kinds of apples are the latest factories that are the orange trees and then there is tangerine tree I wanted that during the mixture of apple apples and oranges as a measure of all different kinds of origins. Young enters hybrids and then there is the just say were all different but yet similar we all have in place. The purpose women, interconnection, there were buddies. They love me. Love for you God 's love for you is expressed through his work and as we look at the Scriptures we want to see things a little more clearly. Look at what he says about love. Let me read it again if I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy, but don't live on nothing but create, but the creaking of a rusty gate if I speak God 's word with power revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day. And if I have faith that says the amount and job and it jumps, but I don't love are nothing if I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the state to be burned as a monitor, but I don't love. I've gotten nowhere. So no matter what I say what I believe what I do. I'm bankrupt without love, love never gives up log cares more for others than for self love doesn't want when it doesn't have love doesn't strut. Love doesn't have a swelled head doesn't force itself on others isn't always need first doesn't fly off the handle doesn't keep score of the sins of others doesn't grapple with when others grovel takes pleasure in the flowering of truth puts up with anything. Trust God always always look for the best. Never looks back. But it's going to be in love never dies. Love never dies. It is an echo that we will hear throughout eternity. God loves God loves you. God loves that little one in the back heard that echo that God loves you just the faintest echo we all heard the echo of a child on the mother 's shoulder. The apple of God in our hearts is always there, God, God again God loves me again so is there funnily are grateful to you for your love. That's the source of life of forgiveness 's Lord of strength and hope spatial SMR future and not our past alarm that sees what we can become not what we done wrong. A lot of that opens doors of opportunity love that opens to us why in power and strength, grace and mercy love of God that will never die. Thank you Lord for loving us and helping us to understand within our hearts within our minds with an arsenal. Thank you Rob Crow wanting me got in this moment we confess our sin, we ask you to forgive us within our hearts, we ask you oh God, to make us new creatures, new creations in Christ Jesus were old things passed away, behold, all things become new God, we ask you to forgive us and God. Those who are in need of a divine touch with healing touch. I know we've already asked the Lord we ask again for you to touch them in Jesus name amenHer eye this morning. I know we've already asked the Lord we ask again for you to touch them in Jesus name amen
