John 20:1-9
1) Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came early, while it was yet dark, to the tomb, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
2) She ran therefore, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don‘t know where they have laid him!"
3) Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they went toward the tomb.
4) They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter, and came to the tomb first.
5) Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying, yet he didn‘t enter in.
6) Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,
7) and the cloth that was on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.
8) Then the other disciple also entered in therefore, who came first to the tomb, and he saw, and believed.
9) For as yet they didn‘t know the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
John 19:39-40
39) Nicodemus also came, he who at first came to Jesus by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred Roman pounds.
40) So they took Jesus‘ body, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.
1 Corinthians 15
1) Now I declare to you, brothers, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
2) by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you -- unless you believed in vain.
3) For I delivered to you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,
4) that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5) and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6) Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.
7) Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
8) and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
9) For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.
10) But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not found vain, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11) Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
12) Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13) But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.
14) If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.
15) Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn‘t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.
16) For if the dead aren‘t raised, neither has Christ been raised.
17) If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.
18) Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19) If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.
20) But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.
21) For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.
22) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
23) But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ‘s, at his coming.
24) Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25) For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26) The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
27) For, "He put all things in subjection under his feet." But when he says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.
28) When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
29) Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren‘t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?
30) Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?
31) I die daily, by your boasting which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.
32) If I fought with animals at Ephesus like men, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
33) Don‘t be deceived! "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
34) Wake up righteously, and don‘t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
35) But some one will say, "How are the dead raised?" and, "With what kind of body do they come?"
36) You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.
37) That which you sow, you don‘t sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.
38) But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
39) All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
40) There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.
41) There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
42) So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
43) It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
44) It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
45) So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46) However that which is spiritual isn‘t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
47) The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.
48) As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49) As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let‘s also bear the image of the heavenly.
50) Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood can‘t inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51) Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54) But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
55) "Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?"
56) The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57) But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58) Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord‘s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Mark 4
1) Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
2) He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
3) "Listen! Behold, the farmer went forth to sow,
4) and it happened, as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
5) Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
6) When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7) Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8) Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some brought forth thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much."
9) He said, "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear."
10) When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
11) He said to them, "To you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
12) that ‘seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.‘"
13) He said to them, "Don‘t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
14) The farmer sows the word.
15) These are they by the road, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
16) These in like manner are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
17) They have no root in themselves, but endure for a while, then, when oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
18) Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
19) and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20) These are those who were sown on the good ground: such as hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times."
21) He said to them, "Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under the bed? Isn‘t it put on the lampstand?
22) For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.
23) If any man has ears to hear, let him hear."
24) He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.
25) For whoever has, to him will more be given, and he who has not, from him will be taken away even that which he has."
26) He said, "So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
27) and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he doesn‘t know how.
28) For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
29) But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts forth the sickle, because the harvest has come."
30) He said, "How will we liken the kingdom of God? Or by what parable will we compare it?
31) It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
32) yet when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow."
33) With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
34) Without a parable he didn‘t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained all things.
35) On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let‘s go over to the other side."
36) Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
37) There arose a great wind storm, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
38) He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, don‘t you care that we are dying?"
39) He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace. Be still." The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40) He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?"
41) They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
Hebrews 4
1) Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps a promise being left of entering into his rest, anyone of you should seem to have come short of it.
2) For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as also they, but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not mixed with faith by those who heard.
3) For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, They will not enter into my rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4) For he has said somewhere about the seventh day like this, "God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"
5) and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."
6) Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the good news were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,
7) he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, Don‘t harden your hearts."
8) For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
9) There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10) For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11) Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.
12) For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13) There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14) Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
15) For we don‘t have a high priest who can‘t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
16) Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for timely help.

John Chapter twenty verse one through nine early in the morning on the first day the weekend reading from the message Bible. While it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the doom and saw that the stone was moved away from the entrance. She ran it once the Simon Peter and the other disciples, the one Jesus loved, breathless. Panting, they took the master from the tomb. We don't know where they've put him Peter and the other disciples left immediately for the two they ran neck and neck disciple got the tomb first outrunning Peter, but while outrunning theory student to look at and saw the pieces of linen clothing plot line, but he didn't go when Simon Peter arrived after him, entered the tomb of Sir the linen cloths lying there and then kerchief used to cover his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but separate neatly folded by itself. Then the other disciples, the one who had gotten there first went into the tomb. They took one look at the evidence and bullying. No one's yet new from Scripture, that he had raised had to rise from the dead, the disciples went back home now, why did the early disciples believe what was it that caused them to believe by looking into the two, and as they looked, and they ran and a look at the Truman look at what's going on there. What that what they saw what an AC then made them believe, but selected John Chapter nineteen versus thirty nine and forty Nicodemus, who had first come to Jesus at night came now in broad daylight carrying a mixture of murder and aloe about seventy five pounds and seventy five pounds of murder and aloe. They took body and following the Jewish burial custom wrapped it in linen, with the license so we have here seventy five pounds of aloe and spices and wrapped Amos and wrapped in strips of cloth and they wrapped the body of Jesus in the strips of cloth. Now why is it, how is it that they were able to look and believe, and I that it was last year that I have finally revised finally found evidence or whatever reading the brought this this hot reality commitment to me is that if you arrest somebody in strips of cloth cloth in their seventy five pounds say water and flour aloe and spices. If you put that together and Rocco body and it a try to present what a plaster cast. Now is not like a cat can break but it is a test of the news around the run. The body of Jesus. And when Jay and they looked at this and that we may have been there. They had put the body and wrapped him in these spices and in this aloe. They wrapped it and they believed in the resurrection, when they look bad, what did they say they saw up a whole body wrapped in the stock with nobody in their there was no body in the wrappings. It would have been impossible to get out of the mappings without it falling apart wasn't like a plaster cast into the bang around and not not done. You break it, maybe David. He had about three or forecast whenever he had a plaster cast on his foot note is always breaking in that unit went on, but this was not like a cast material be almost like of a material that was around the body and in the body disappeared out of it and it was lying there at it. If the body was in it but there was nobody, nobody, nobody home and then they found the napkin that would overspray. They found that neatly folded in a different way. So the person that was inside of this plastered to wasn't there. That's why the disciples. This shell that was there. That's why the disciples believe they look and immediately believed in the resurrection they believe that Jesus had risen from the dead, never slow down from there. My that Jesus was risen from the dead. It was afterwards that they began to appear to them, and they saw him, but it was whenever they walked and went to a new reality of what it taken place they saw and they believe, and the reason this is so important is everything that we believe about Jesus Christ and of obvious teaching is it hinges for print is on this resurrection in Jesus isn't risen from the dead. The truth that he presents are no value. Paul says that the first Corinthians fifteen is that if there be no resurrection of the dead. There is Christ not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then he is our preaching vain, our faith is also very the message Bible says it this way if there is no resurrection, there is no living Christ. If Jesus is risen from the dead heat for giving us of our sins and living in our life can't happen and then his promises that he gave about eternal life and the resurrection of all of us and all of those who had died in cry the proper. Everything hinges on this resurrection of Jesus Christ and if we don't believe it. No, there were those in the time of Christ, and after Christ and the apostles, and so on. They wrote to them. They believe in the resurrection by handling the bodily resurrection and Paul wrote these letters to then try and shut framing them to Jesus. Goes on to say if there's the resurrection. There's no living Christ and face it, if there is no resurrection for Christ. Everything we told you is nothing but smoke and mirrors and everything you mistake everything you stake your life on his smoke and mirrors. Not only that but we would be guilty of telling you strengthen we would be guilty of telling a string of barefaced lies about God. Paul says that the church of Corinth, so the Christian message. The Christian message is tied to the historical reality of Christ's death. Christ, resurrection, and Christ's exultation to know the apostles. It's important to note that the apostles cannot conceive the apostles cannot conceive of his message having any spiritual value. If Christ is not risen the apostles themselves said, if Jesus isn't risen on the day his message has no value. Birth is sixteen if courses. If a corpse can't be raised, then Christ can we raise because he was indeed that the draw there was a teaching that went around the Jesus really wasn't that whenever he was on the cross. They took him down before he died, and then they put them into Germany. Somehow he somehow came back to life and gone out okay, now I do. Here you can watch the film that thoughts about that that that that Christ was not good things felt that that it passion of the Christ. If you watch that film that still doesn't depict the brutality is brutal as that. Is that still doesn't put the bank. The brutality of what happened to Jesus and how he will be able to survive even that would've been a miracle, let alone hang on the cross for all those hours and have a spear stuck in a side and young water and blood gushed out of his side to see the resurrection of Jesus Christ brings all the truths of God 's word to life to life. Jesus says on the road never leave you nor forsake you. Because he's the living Savior, Jesus says that nothing shall separate policies. This is nothing shall separate you from the love of God. Nothing can come between you and God 's love. Nothing can take you out of God 's hand that God is with you, that in death we have a halt while the resurrection of Jesus Christ is risen from the dead see Christ in you is the hope of glory and whenever we take received the word of God into our life. We become a miracle they become a miracle. Our life is transformed from the inside out. No longer are the limits with Christ and limiting me there was a hope that our life that only Jesus Christ can give us because he loves us, and he died for us. It wasn't a mistake that Jesus died it was the plan, Jesus before the foundation of the error. No, what was going to happen any. He would become the Lamb of God. It takes away the sin of the world 's why would a failed attempt at trying to redeem man because of his life, and it all felt off all apart last time and he killed and by mistake. That's no less human logic trying to figure out a reason why Jesus would die, but Christ in you, the hope of hope of glory is allowing the miracle allowing the truth of God 's word to be a part of our life. Colossians says this fall to the church at velocity. He says that God wanted everyone, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery. In a nutshell is this Christ is in you. So therefore, you can look forward to sharing in God 's glory. It's that simple Christ in you. When we accept Jesus Christ into our life. It is not hope that resides inside of us that will last an eternity. Christ is in you. We look forward to the glory of living in heaven with Christ and not only living in heaven. It is coming back to where we are now that we have the abundance of what God would have us to be the joy of the Lord is our strength that we go through every day, every day, every day. I've been part of our life knowing that Christ is in us. He is with us as we go through life we go through the obstacles and difficulties know how I like that the seller is not in Mark chapter four young week we can ask ourselves what type of soil are we here, we all. We all hear the word. We all hear it. The wayside soil, safety comes and takes the word that the Scriptures. They come to our hearts and comes to mind in which you are here today and and as we rated as we pray the Scriptures come to us the word made flesh, and one among us. God made flesh will accept the word of God. We are accepting God into our life. If you are thinking into our hearts. The wayside soil is the word is sound into the into the along the hard path. Satan comes takes away that's numerical stony ground. We hear the word and immediately be received with gladness. But we don't have any roads with problems commonly become offended. We back off and leave no miracle there for a ground here the word in an and cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches. This was trusting well the lost some of the things choke the word, become unfruitful. No miracle there. Good ground. We hear the word we receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty fold some sixty fold some hundredfold messes where we become numerical, we become the miracle of the resurrection, because the miracle of Christ's life produces live inside of us in whatever we touch in whatever we do it, it multiplies and becomes greater, some thirty. For some fifty full sun. The hundredfold God has a way of working in us that multiplication factor that what we do and say multiplies your we look at our values. They wound now really don't. I don't have that much. I can't give that might not want back. It's the influence that we have in the lives of people, neighbors, friends and families. The influence that we have the dog works in us and were able to talk about Christ and his love and forgiveness that comes to us through Christ gamers after four cents. The word is quick and powerful alignment active full of strength that the word of God, we have inside of us with the peace of God guard your hearts and minds. We never were upset or discouraged or problems, things we can't think that we can handle on our home, that's not the problem because we have Christ in us to a crisis in us. The word is alive. It quickens. It's quick and powerful. It gives us assurance when we feel discouraged. There is an assurance that comes from the word from the Scriptures, and that assurance is Jesus Christ and us that assurances that Christ is there to help us to give us strength. The power of the word. Nothing and no one is impervious to God 's word that everyone will hear the word, that word makes a difference. So I look at as you look at the disciples and the than the crucifixion of Christ and how that they would have gone away, and discouragement in hiding. Couldn't I remember Danny. They remember the time that they were on the stormy sea there, and Murton, Mark chapter four, there arose a great storm and the waves beat into the ship and Jesus was in the higher part of the ship asleep on a pillow, and then awakened this ambassador don't you care that we perish. And he arose, and rebuked the wind and the sea. Instead, please, please fill in the wind ceased, and there was a great calm and a set of the van why are so careful how is it that you have no faith, and they feared exceedingly, and they said one to another, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him. It's a visible living Christ but this already and applies it to our hearts and applies it to our life when we are in the Tempest in the storms cost and wondering where is Jesus anonymous and then the story is why do we acquire. We afraid Christ is with us. He is alive. He is with us and he can speak the words peace be still. Let the peace of God guard your hearts and minds. There is a peace that comes upon our life. Maybe the situation doesn't change, but there is a piece in us. It is able to face the store is able to face the difficulties in only a living Christ is able to do this being America, now that Jesus is no ordinary person. He is the Savior who loves you and a chance for you, Jesus hanging on the cross. He says that those around him, you know, take my life. I'm giving it. I am the sacrifice life that God raised him to loss the life that God breeze into us can never go out, we may die, but the life that we live the person never dies. The life of the resurrection is that Jesus Christ is alive for evermore, and the life of Christ cannot be kept in the two and so the life that we live cannot be kept in the two we may die, but guess what we will rise again, he has resin the earth shock with the news. He has resin and in that moment joy replace despair help push out fear in life, not just that they were for eternity. We celebrate the resurrection of Christ for what it meant. Then, and what it means cross every day, every day a sacrifice that brings forgiveness a sacrifice that brings renewal of peace to any of us who put our faith in Christ, being America was no matter where we are in our life, no matter what burden or what circumstance may come to us. We have a reason to give thanks we have a reason to thank God and praise him, praise him for that. Unmatched love that comes to our hearts and lives. He is risen. He is Christ. He is alive for evermore, and that he will live. Jesus, the bread of life communion Jesus broke the bread instead. This is my body. This is the cup. This is the blood of the New Testament, which is shed for you but know this, I will not drink or eat on this line on this thread until I drink it anew with you in my father 's kingdom. Jesus and their what was going to happen a little resurrection and in the crucifixion were talking eminent in front of him, but he knew about the resurrection, and he knew that that would make the difference being a miracle after the empty tomb. After that, if the till in our lives and experience the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus is alive in us, his light shine in us and throw us into the dark world that we live in, and he called us to be the miracle now that Jesus Christ is the hi, not only out there somewhere, but in here. He is a lot Jesus lives. I serve a risen Savior, he's in the world today and I know that he is living whatever men may say I see his hand of mercy, I hear his voice of cheer and just the time I need him. He's always the admin salaries that if there is a special holiday it out. We often think of Christmas is the the major holiday of the of the church is there is the holiday of the church. The church celebrated Easter. Why, because the early church led on Sunday the first day of the week. Admit that started every week after the resurrection, the church met on Sunday, the Jewish Sabbath is Saturday the church met on Sunday the first day of the week, the resurrection day of Jesus Christ. Every Sunday is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every Sunday is a memorable moral that Christ rose on the first day of the week he arose as a conquering savior. Death could not hold him. Death could not confine him. He is life Emily Christ lives in us, we will live forever. Take a breath. Two thousand years from now new be able to bring cause your life will never be extinguished. You are living soul and you will live forever in Christ they will spend an eternity in heaven because he loves us that much, that he die for us and he rose again, and then Christ died for us and he rose from the dead, because he lives we shall live alsoJohn Chapter twenty verse one through nine early in the morning on the first day the weekend reading from the message Bible. You are living soul and you will live forever in Christ they will spend an eternity in heaven because he loves us that much, that he die for us and he rose again, and then Christ died for us and he rose from the dead, because he lives we shall live also
